Wolves gives: Beasley, Randolph
Wolves gets: Okafor, Arthur
Griz gives: Conley, Gay, Mayo, Arthur
Griz gets: Paul, Ariza, Beasley, Jack
Hornets gives: Paul, Ariza, Okafor, Jack
Hornets gets: Conley, Gay, Mayo, Randolph
Wolves: Derrick Williams replaces Beasley. MINN gets a center and a legit PF to back up Love
Okafor/Darko
Love/Arthur
Williams/Webster
Johnson/Ellington
Rubio/Luke
Griz: MEM gets the best player in the trade to go along with Marc and Zach. Griz lose Rudy, but he wasn't a factor in the playoffs anyway. Their is a slight down grade at SF, but very minor with Beasley, and Jack is an insurance policy if Paul leaves.
Gasol/
Zach/
Beasley/Ariza
Henry/Allen
Paul/Jack
Hornets: NOH gets four young good players who won't get in the way of any possible draft of Drumond, Davis, Lamb, or Sullinger
Drumond/
Anthony Randolph/
Gay/
Mayo/
Conley/

I would love to have Paul on the Grizz, but would not love gutting our team to get him.

I didn't want to look like a troll on the Clippers board so I didnt post anything there but man did the Hornets ever hit the motherloade on that deal. I know Paul is one of the best point guards out there but to get a former all-star center, a budding all-star shooting guard, a good young prospect small forward, and what could be a lottery pick in a draft where some say the top 11 picks could be as good as the number one pick in the 2011 draft, is amazing value considering Paul was going elsewhere after this season anyways.

Re: Chris Paul
Hornets definitely won that trade and I don't expect the Clippers to be any better this year. Caron Butler, Chancey Billups, DeAndre Jordan? That has sub 30 wins written all over it. Kevin Garnett had lots of great players around him in Minnesota and was undoubtedly the #1 player at the time - which perhaps Griffin becomes. But you build the team around him you don't just throw Steve Francis and Latrell Sprewell in there and expect to win it all

I disagree. Griffin and Paul will make one of the best one-two punches on the NBA. And it won't hurt to have a defensive and rebounding specialist in Jordan and a good scoring punch from the wing in Butler and having Chauncey coming off the bench as well.

My point was simply that the Hornets got alot of value back considering it was likely that Paul was going to look elsewhere next summer. I wonder what is going to happen with the Clippers having Paul, Williams, Bledsoe, and Billups at the point. none are shooting guards and all will be unhappy other than Paul who will get his 36 minutes a game.

Re: Chris Paul
I definitely will have to eat crow saying they wont' be "better". Of course they will be better but I don't know if they are a playoff team yet. Chris Kaman I think is a decent center but Jordan is no better than Hamed Haddadi. I'd pick Haddadi over him. What does a 1, 2 punch give you that Tyreke Evans and Demarcus Cousins can't give? How are they better than the Kings? or Rubio and Derrick Williams?

With the logjam @ PG, I won't be too surprised if Mo Will gets traded away.

I laughed so hard when I saw that they are not a playoff team yet with Paul-Billups-Butler-Griffin-Jordan, I was almost going to fall down. Are you f**** kidding??? Do you even remember what was last year's HORNETS looked like, at some point in the playoffs against Lakers they were going with Bellinelli-Ariza-Landry-Gray as their best lineup and killing the LAL.
HAHAHAHAH I didnt even see Haddadi over Jordan thing. That is just (Please Use More Appropriate Word) SMH.

Re: Chris Paul
yitur - I admit I went overboard on my denouncement of the trade - but we shall see my friend. The hornets and grizzlies also went undefeated in preseason last year. let's see how your clippers do in San Antonio Wednesday night...
Aaron Grey didn't start in the playoffs ??
- Emeka Okafor - ever heard of him?
The Clippers will find a way to screw this up - seen it too many times before. Caron Butler, Billups Mo Williams, too many selfish has-beens to make it work.
Haddadi has played should-to-shoulder at the highest level in competition and proven himself. DeAndre Jordan is just another **** Aggie who can't even hit the rim on a free throw.

Re: Chris Paul
I didnt say Aaron started I said it was their best lineup at some point with that 5 they were killing the Lakers and comparing Haddadi and Jordan is just funny lol. Clippers will beat the Spurs and I dont think even if they beat Spurs it wouldnt be the right game to evaluate Clipps, if you want to see how good Clipps are you should wait for OKC game.

OK test 1 against Spurs, http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore?gid=2011122824
ouch. And the mighty Dejuan Blair emasculates DeAndre Jordan. let's see how they fare against the OKC then.

Re: Chris Paul
I've always been a Dejuan Blair fan. He doesn't care about height(he makes up for it with long arms). And for someone of his size he has good footwork and good hands.
Anyhow, not to take anything away from the Spurs(they simply outplayed the Clippers), but I could see a letdown game from the Clippers. They have been playing alot, have been under the spotlight constantly, and like the Heat last night they were bound to be a bit fatigued both mentally and physically.
I'm going to give it a while for teams to settle into the season and compare when the early rush of games even out for everyone.
