^^Will do, dorkus.

Alright, Lightning picks Serge Ibaka.

I'll make my pick in just a second.

Well I may regret this (we all know Wolfay will think I will), but I need what this brings, and there's really not much of it left, and I don't expect him to be around when I pick again

So without any further ado, I take Kevin Martin.

Edit: And just as a reminder, you guys can send picks to KIE or myself. I'll be in bed in about an hour, but I'm assuming he'll be up not long after and maybe checking in.

^^I almost took him myself...but had a better feeling about Gordon's potential with his change of address.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

You might, especially with these rule changes!

"Rip-through" moves, in which an offensive player swings the ball into a defender's outstretched arm and then attempts a shot once he has created contact, will be considered non-shooting fouls if the contact begins before the offensive player starts his shooting motion.

Also, on drives to the basket, a shooting foul will be called only if contact occurs after the offensive player has begun his shooting motion, not after he has initiated his leap toward the basket.

I'll believe those when I see them actually enforced. I need help on FTs and points.

I love these new rule changes. So the last one mentioned essentially just gets rid of continuation?

But either way, bad news for mitch/Martin.

That is why I'm not touching Martin early in any of my leagues.

You can still be fouled in the act of shooting, make the shot, and have it count as a bucket and one free throw, which is what continuation is, no? Like you get hit on the elbow during a jump shot, make the shot, it will still count on the scoreboard and you get the and1. I guess the impact the rule change will have on continuation is when the act of shooting actually begins. Before, I think, when driving to the basket, just picking up the ball and making the first step was good enough to be considered in the act of shooting, but now the player has to be in a "shooting motion", and only during the "shooting motion" will a shooting foul be called, and if the balls goes in, a continuation will also be called.

Ya continuation basically means as long as you shoot the ball before putting it on the floor again, it's in the act of shooting which was a BS rule.

Forgot to mention another rule for picking time that I want to include.

Basically in a situation like this, dorkus theoretically has until 11:05am pacific time tomorrow to make his pick. To speed things up, if you're on the clock for more than, let's say, 3 hours before the clock stops for the night, you have the whole night to make the pick, but at 8am the following morning, the pick forwards to the next person.
