Houston and Oklahoma City have a trade to announce.

Rockets out:
Chris Paul ($16,359,805)
Emeka Okafor ($12,492,500)
Total = $28,852,305

Thunder out:
Amar'e Stoudemire ($18,217,705)
Kyrie Irving ($5,144,280)
Jared Jeffries ($854,000)
Total = 100% + $5 million = $29,215,985

Rockets do this deal because we feared that Paul would leave for a better supporting cast next offseason, so we do him a solid here and ship him to be a part of OKC's sick lineup. We welcome in a young replacement in Kyrie and we also get one of the most dynamic big men in the game in Amar'e Stoudemire. Great dealin', RR9! 8-)

i could've done wb/smith for cp3/filler but i went a longer way around and gave up wb/amare instead and got cp3/ray allen/okafor....and i really think that's a big difference. i get the best pg in the game who's paired with dwight howard now! i also have josh smith who will play a blake griffin-like role with his athleticism. josh came back this season having lost weight and he wants to get better, be a part of his team. i will no longer question his iq as he'll become a more team player with his best friend dwight on the team and cp3 throwing him lobs. i'm so excited! oh i also have ray/matthews a great wing pair from 3!!

Houston and Washington have a minor deal to announce.

Rockets out:
Daniel Orton ($1,105,560)
Luke Babbitt ($854,489)
Total = $1,960,049

Wizards out:
Alexis Ajinca ($2,500,000)
Marvin Williams ($854,489)
Total = $3,354,489

Houston can absorb the extra salary. We do this deal to trade the potential of Orton and Babbit for the production of Marvin Williams. Ajinca has a decent amount of potential as well.

The 100th trade had to be a game changer - and Houston and the Wiz are pleased to deliver!!! Washington accepts this deal. While we liked Marvin Williams - especially on a vets minimum - we know he will excel in spurt and disappear, while playing solid defense. IN Babbitt, we acquire the best shooter in the 2009 draft and a big SF/ stretch PF with great rebounding instincts. He was outstanding in his D League stints last year and once he adjusts to the pace of the NBA, he should bring those skills to the Wiz's rotation. In Orton, we have the potential of a special big who - as a Freshman at Kentucky - was a major contributor to a final 4 team. Orton has all the tools and will simply take some time to develop. Most of all, he brings an aggressive attitude with good BB Insticts. We are pleased to announce this Golden Anniversary Deal to our game!

TOR and NYK have a trade to announce.

So much for last trade...

TOR outgoing:
Richard Hamilton $12,500,000
Trevor Ariza $6,790,640
Russell Westbrook $5,082,416
total: $24,373,056

NYK outgoing:
Carmelo Anthony $18,518,574
Chauncey Billups $14,200,000
total: $32,718,574

We need a better decision maker at PG, so youth be damned we got Billups. Size, strong guard that can spread the floor and get everyone the ball where they like it. Melo is an iso scorer, a top 2 pure scorer in the league and a strong rebounder and improving passer. We wanted a go to guy and we got him.

Knicks accept this deal. Westbrook is younger and on a much cheaper contract and is an superstar in just his 3rd year. Rip Hamilton is on an expiring just like Billups. Trevor Ariza gives the Knicks a solid player at small forward.

Overall the Knicks get more depth while cutting salary which gives the Knicks more flexibility in the future.

HOU and POR have a trade to announce:

Part 1:

To Houston:
$7,500,000 of $12,372,000 TPE from trade with TOR

To Portland:
Rodney Stuckey $7,500,000

Part 2:

To Houston:
Kevin Love ($4,609,701)
JaJuan Johnson ($1,042,320)
Jermaine O'Neal ($6,226,200)
Kwahi Leonard ($1,731,960)
David West ($7,000,000)

Total: 20,610,181

To Portland:
Amare Stoudemire ($18,217,705)
Joel Anthony ($3,600,000)

Total: 21,817,705

Close enough.

Totals to be Stoudemire/Stuckey/Anthony for Love/West/Leonard/O'Neal/Johnson

POR accepts. We had talked with what seemed like everyone about trading Love, and we finally got a deal we liked. This creates a great front court for me of Stat/Hickson/Anthony, gets a star with Durant that knows how to do well in the playoffs. Stuckey gives us a PG that is a great defender, can pass well, and adds another scoring spark. We also keep a lot of our depth, as we are at least 2 deep at every position expect C, where we have that nice 3 man rotation.

Houston confirms. We hate seeing Amar'e go, but we wanted to get someone that will grow and peak with Kyrie, Love fits the bill. Losing Stuckey also hurts, as we loved him as out SG, but at least we have a lot of depth coming back. We get an all-star in West and two young studs in Kawhi Leonard and JaJuan Johnson.

The Phoenix Suns and Indiana Pacers have agreed to the following:

Phoenix will send:

Markieff Morris - 1,499,300
Detroit 2012 2nd Round Pick

Indiana will send:

We're under the cap so the deal works.

We're fans of Rush and Mcroberts so this is a no brainer. Nice dealing.

Trade 102

WIZARDS AND HORNETS COME TO TERMS

The Washington Wizards have acquired Rehab Specialsit / Center Greg Oden (9M) and SF/SG CJ Miles (3.7M) from the New Orleans Hornets for Chris Kaman (12.7M) and Dante Cunningham (745,248) and a 2013 2nd. The salaries are nearly identical - and New Orleans is over 18M under the cap so the deal works.

Wizard management is convinced that Oden's injuries are over and he has shown outstanding commitment to becoming a factor in the Association. Once he rutrns to action, everyone know he will be a game changers, especially on the defense. In addition, the Wiz wanted to shore up it's backup SF position and feel Miles will excel in that position. He has a more natural game at the 3 than Dante. The Wiz wish both Cunningham and Chris Kaman well in New Orleans - where Dante will be reunited with his former Blazer coach. Very nice - decisive dealing with New Orleans as long as the commissioner stays out of the deal. Thanks

Hornets accept. We feel Kaman's expiring will be more useful than Oden's oft-injured potential

Indiana and San Antonio have a trade. (Edit - that's #103)

IND in / SAN out:
Chris Andersen - $4,869,100

SAN in / IND out:
2012 Indiana 2nd

Indiana has cap space, and SAN also gets a TPE equal to Andersen's salary.

Indiana accepts. Wanted a true backup C who plays great defense, and Andersen fits the bill.

Trade 104

HEAT / WIZ IN 9 PLAYER SWAP

The Wasington Wizards will send
Steve Nash
Wes Johnson
Tyler Hansbrough
Donatas Motiejunas
2015 lotto protected 1st Round Pick
Total: 18.314

The Miami Heat will send
Derrick Williams (4.6m)
Devin Harris (9.32m)
Gilbert Arenas (2m)
Ryan Anderson (2.24m)
Travis Outlaw (854k)
Tota: 19.01

Wizards are still in a few years away and while they do move Nash, Harris and Arenas are both quality PG who are much younger and can develop with the Wizard's core. Again, the potential or Donatas and Wes are offset with known production of young established player in Anderson and Outlaw (who we expect to find his stroke after away from the spotlite on the NJ/NY media hype. And Anderson will provide stretch 4 and Center minutes (he did backup DH12 in Orlando) - Great Rebounder. And the obvious target in this deal was the potential that Derrick Williams brings. He will be able to establish himself at either the SF or PF spots. The Wiz have great versatility in this lineup with most guys capable of playing 2 spots effectively. Great dealing with Miami and we are please to puy Nash in a win now position.

Miami accepts. We hate losing Derrick Williams but we had no room for him to grow on our roster, like how we couldn't develop Beasley. We're quite high on Wes Johnson and feel he can become a wing Shawn Marion with a jumper in the future. Hansbrough has that toughness mentality and will be our young version of UD. Motiejunas shows good potential and could be a very useful piece in the future, perhaps after a couple of years in Europe or something lol.

Of course, the main piece for us here is Steve Nash. We have a hella athletic team and Nash will make great use of that. He's also a terrific shooter and will fit the team incredibly well.

Trade #105: Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings

Miami Heat trade:
Courtney Lee
Mario Chalmers

Total: $3,316,193

Sacramento Kings trade:
Goran Dragic
Christian Eyenga

Total: $3,205,520

We trade for an excellent backup PG in Dragic who has played under Nash before. I think they'll make an incredible tandem at the 1 spot. I also really like Eyenga and he fits our athletic team build and has three cheap years left.

I really liked Lee but there was no PT for him.
