That doesn't sound too bad. Define one dimensional though?

When he's in the game, he's thinking score, score, score. Big time tunnel vision. He lacks a solid all around game. With that being said, he shows some versatility in his offensive game. He's a decent spot up shooter, but really excels taking it off the drible. He seems to get into a better rhythm that way, especially when taking pull up jumpers. He can get to the basket, but lacks superior strength and athleticism to be a top of the line finisher. I believe him to be a good option coming off the bench in situational conditions when we really are having a hard night scoring.

score, score, score isnt one dimensional. JJ is one dimensional. jump shot shooter only.

but neither can create off the dribble... jrich is long past being an offensive threat and JJ never was unless he's open and on. when he's off he's useless.

I really think you are underselling Redick here. He's actually pretty good at creating offense for people and can attack the rim.

Aminu, Gordon & Kaman Look THRILLED To Be Hornets
No really, they're ecstatic.

I've seen prisoners happier to get their jumpsuits. If you photoshopped a newspaper into Al-Farouq Aminu's hands, you'd get a hostage photo.

How about a little enthusiasm fellas?

While i don't agree with all of his moves, i think his decisions have made us into a winning team over the past few years. He has drafted pretty well and had given us )up to last year) one of the deepest teams in the game. A team that was able to defeat the 76ers in the playoffs on the road without our best player. He has shown the willingness to make moves to improve the team and until last year, they were pretty successful moves. It is not in my opinion a good move to fire one of the most successful GM's over the last three seasons.

Scola looks pretty good tonight vs. the spurs. I'd take him right now over Hedo for sure, even if he does have an extra year. At least he hustles, and can score.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.
Boo.

at this point I'd put wafer/liggins in front of JJ & Jrich.

Lol what? You mean play them over jrich and JJ? Why

JJ can't create for himself let alone anyone else so that pretty much delegates him to spot up shooting. jrich well as much as I like him I really think we need to move on with the youth that we have at the 2/3. and in all seriousness based off what I saw wafer/liggins > JJ easily at this point.

is that all the NBA you've seen?

if you don't think JJ can create then you haven't watched him play. he certainly won't break a defense down off the dribble, but after Turk he's the only wing capable of making a pass to the open guy. oh, and he's also the most likely to put the ball on the floor and go into the lane if the shots aren't falling from the outside.

i'm not denying VW and Liggins have ability, but you can't anoint them starters based off one preseason game.

yeah, we see things differently. I see a GM that traded a pick for Darko, then let him walk. Oversigned Lewis by far more than anyone was going to give him. Drafted a Euro that had no intention of coming over, Orton isnt looking good. Threw in an unneeded pick in trading away depth to bring back a player that he said was overpaid in Hedo. Hasnt gotten the team defenders or someone that can create for others off the dribble.

I see a GM that seems to throw darts to put players around a top player in the league, without rhyme or reason. The success of the team to me isnt a result of Otis, it is a result of coaching and having Dwight start to come into his prime.

how much of an influence do you think Dwight Howard has had over the success of this team?

A lot, as has Otis, Stan, Hedo, Rashard, Redick, C-Lee, Jameer, Rafer, and Gortat.

What are the chances Kevin Love stays in Minny? I know it's a long shot, but the Magic should make an offer for Love around the trade deadline. And try to clear cap space (as they should anyway to land D-Will) and if D-Will doesn't decide to come to Orlando, then go after K. Love. I'm watching the Minny/Milwaukee game and he's definitely trimmed down and bulked up.

Maybe I'm being overly skeptical but these highlights don't impress me at all. It's easy to filter out all the bad stuff and string together a clip of highlights to make a guy look good but while I'm looking at this video I'm seeing Wafer:

- Take a ton of really bad, well-contested shots.
- Drive to the right and ALWAYS go up for a weak lay-up
- Take a jumper every time he's going to his left
- Not get a lot of lift on his layups

Basically just a lot of moves that make him look good against inferior players that wouldn't work in the NBA. Most of those layups would get blocked either by his defender or weak-side help.

that clip shows a lot of the things bicatmit brought up in the first place. the guy has his limitations, so i don't think people should have high expectations for him, but damn it will be good to have someone on the team who's not afraid to take it to the rack.

do you think Dwight is equally as responsible for this team's success as Otis and the others are?

i'd say the reason the Wolves are rumoured to be considering a Love for Gasol deal is because they know Love will want out after this season, so they'll want to get value for him whilst they can.

not sure why they'd throw Derrick Williams in too. Love plus filler for Gasol straight up is a fair swap IMO.
