Was always high on Quincy Miller and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. They got that swagger the Raptors need.

Sorry; I know this kid is 2013 but it's this type of aggresiveness and dominance that I don't see in Lamb....no offence to JL just this kind of attacking is what I'm talking about to be THE next great SG:

LOL Lamb is an overhyped college jumpshooter. We've seen plenty of those before.

Looks like a great prospect, but we'll see how he does in college. Barnes looked aggressive and dominant in HS too, look how that turned out. Same thing with DeMar - looked amazing in HS highlights, but was rather disappointing in college. At least he improved quite a bit since joining the league.

Lamb can't even be compared to this kid. I heard rumors about the kid being God-possessed 8-)

Shabazz looks more like 6'4" to me. And his athleticism appears to be a lil bit above average.

Like 5dom said, we will have to wait and see.

I think Jabari Parker is the next stud.

Yeah I hear you and I said that in one of my responses to Undefeated that we'll have to wait and see what he's like in college but if he's anything like this then he's just a ridiculous prospect.

I do see a difference in his game though between those 2...Barnes was supposed to be more Melo/Durant like with his jumper and not so much a finisher. Whereas DeMar (as we all know lol) was being likened to VC for having highlight reel dunks. The difference I see (so far) is Shabazz seems to attack the rim a lot more then both kind of like a Dwayne Wade mold....but again we'll see if that holds up in his next step.

**to the poster who mentioned Jabari; I see a young Grant Hill to his game.

Man.

MKG, Miller, Jones are the players we should be trying to look for. Barnes just looks real weak.

Hopefully he keeps his stock high so one of the others falls to us.

And if Jones and MKG can drop them treys, MAN.

Shabazz can flat out play ball. I haven't seen his mid-range game yet, but his inside and outside game is ridiculous. Haven't see anyone attack the basket as hard as Shabazz since Dwyane Wade. Barnes and Lamb got nothing on Shabazz. Look how easy he makes it creating from the perimeter.

Shabazz gonna go to Duke book it lol. I remember watching some vid of him wearing a Blue Devils hoodie.

I love Gilchrist with a 2nd pick; not first.

yeah that would be ideal, although there aren't a lot of prospects ahead of him imo, so it would be hard to acquire that second pick to select him.

I still think Barnes will be the guy. Remember, only 10% of current play will factor into the draft day order, it's all in February and especially March.

This time last year T Jones was the likely guy for #1.

Perry Jones is looking more and more like the wing player/interchangeable PF we need. He had a hell of a game today at BYU. He dropped 28 points on 11/16 FG shooting, he was 2/2 from the 3-pt line, 8 rebounds, 4 asts, and 3 steals. All of this in 33 minutes in one of the toughest places to play in the country.

This guy does everything. Give him more credit.

Perry could average 31/9/4/2 and people wouldn't care because they'd say he doesn't average enough rebounds.

But let Anthony Davis put up 9/13/4 and this place would go crazy. Same thing happened with Barnes last year.

Perry Jones III is the #1 prospect in this draft, It has always been that way.

Perhaps you fail to realize you are dealing with a more sophisticated group of fans here that realize there is more to basketball than ppg. The fact that Perry Jones doesn't have great rebounding or defense for a guy his size does not escape our attention.

Perry Jones is a talent and could well be in the running for first pick by time season is over, but he has to do more than just score for that to happen. Last night he was the man... now just gotta do it for full season

agreed - he looks like he will be a Marion-level of player when Toronto needs a Durant/Wade-level of guy. I really, really like him though and am sure Casey would love him
