How to land Okafor in Miami? Suggestions?

but bringing up quotes from another thread of opposing team fans in this thread ... since when do fans of opposing teams ever want to help the Heat get a Center? I posted "how do we grab Okafor" in this section for a reason.....to discuss among Heat fans.

Yeah he lost weight but I was at the scrimmage and he LOOKED HORRIBLE ! Im not a fan of trading for Okafor because of his contract but to say Dexter is the future is just ridicolous to me.

Predicting a player's entire future off a scrimmage is hilarious and "ridicolous" as well

The Clippers are about to go into the season with BILLUPS as starting Shooting guard!

This trade gives them a LEGIT SG/SF who can spread the floor with his 3 pt shooting and adds a vet presence in the locker room. The Clips would be getting him for almost free.

and to whoever said Miller has no value! What. He has one injured down year and suddenly Miller is worthless? Just remember how many teams were recruiting him in 2010. This guy is a 3pt specialist and adds a lot to a team when healthy.

This is actually a good trade. NOH would dump Okafor's ugly contract so they can sell the team, and receive draft picks. Clippers get a free player, and so does Detroit.
