If any of those teams' fans had any incentive to want to do that deal, they would've said so. Not everyone is "out to get Miami".

so? Why the hostility? You are negative and come off as confrontational right now.

Fact is, some people don't want to help out Miami, as the quote there shows.

How is he being negative, by pointing out that we don't have the assets to get a decent center?

If anyone is being negative it's you by not even giving any of the centers a chance, and seeing they can do anything.

Give us at least 4 games to see how we do. I have a feeling even with the gaping hole we have at center right now that we are the toughest team to beat. I trust our players. Let it ride and see what happens.

Edit: I hate iPad's autocorrect.
I'm no dick rider aye!! But WADEis the toughest dude to guard in the league

Maybe I am being negative about not believing in Curry and Pittman, I will give you that.

but bringing up quotes from another thread of opposing team fans in this thread ... since when do fans of opposing teams ever want to help the Heat get a Center? I posted "how do we grab Okafor" in this section for a reason.....to discuss among Heat fans.

I believe Mike Miller has value to some team out there. He's not worthless. Same as Joel Anthony. Don't need Tim_Hardaway to come in here acting all like "yo stop posting, look what fans of other teams say about it"

Yeah he lost weight but I was at the scrimmage and he LOOKED HORRIBLE ! Im not a fan of trading for Okafor because of his contract but to say Dexter is the future is just ridicolous to me.

Predicting a player's entire future off a scrimmage is hilarious and "ridicolous" as well

I didnt predict crap out of the scrimmage what are you talking about ? I said he looked horrible and asked what has he done to make some fans call him the future.

By being a big guy in the paint lol. Because every rookie after their first year can't get better... <_<

And I just realized why ridiculous was in quotation marks... took me awhile to realize the spelling lol.

Yeah what an ***hole to be posting valid responses that shows what other fans think of your deal. You really think they are saying it's a bad deal because because of some deep seated hatred for the Heat, and not because they just actually think it's a bad deal?

It's hilarious that you're so offended by someone simply reposting responses to what other fan's think of this nonsense.

Absolutely. You are kidding yourself if you think people suddenly stopped hating the Heat, or would want them to acquire a Center.

You have quite the ego complex if you think people's first concern is not letting the Heat get better instead of improving their own team.

StrengthNHonor wrote:The Clippers are about to go into the season with BILLUPS as starting Shooting guard!

This trade gives them a LEGIT SG/SF who can spread the floor with his 3 pt shooting and adds a vet presence in the locker room. The Clips would be getting him for almost free.

and to whoever said Miller has no value! What. He has one injured down year and suddenly Miller is worthless? Just remember how many teams were recruiting him in 2010. This guy is a 3pt specialist and adds a lot to a team when healthy.

This is actually a good trade. NOH would dump Okafor's ugly contract so they can sell the team, and receive draft picks. Clippers get a free player, and so does Detroit.

Miller is not a LEGIT SG/SF. If he was you wouldn't be trying to dump him for a TPE

The Clips would be getting him for almost free but since he has negative value because of his contract, we would have to add incentives to get them to take him off of our cap and add him to theirs.

Miller isn't worthless. He has value, its just negative. We would have to add assets to get a team to take Miller for four more year at MORE than a MLE deal

If Miller was as good as you are portraying, we would want to keep him
Your emotions fuel the narratives that you create. You see what you want to see. You believe what you want to believe. You ascribe meaning when it is not there. You create significance when it is not present.

I think our need @ Center is bigger than having Miller on the roster... with the Battier signing... don't really need him if his contract space could be used on a C.
