We do a trade with Denver and use our TPE for "Birdman" :

C-Dwight Howard/Chris Anderson/Daniel Orton
PF-Glen Davis/Al Harrington/Justin Harper
SF-Jason Richardson/Earl Clark/Q.Rich
SG-J.J. Redick/Von Wafer/DeAndre Liggins
PG-Andre Miller/Jameer Nelson/Chris Duhon

I love Birdman, but no way Denver gives him up. They still think they got a shot to make the playoffs out there. If they were in full rebuild mode they would not have paid Nene that money.

And wait, who is Orlando giving up to get Miller, Harrington, and Andersen?!?!?!?! There is no way

Maybe Denver is not in rebuilding mode yet, but they have 4 centers on their roster. Trade 1) We used our TPE to absorb Andersen's contract. Trade 2) Hedo/Ryno for Harrington/Miller.(Denver saves a ton $$).

There has to be a backup center or PG out there worth using the TPE on.

Anthony Johnson was horrible. You serious? Pietrus just checked step back fadeaway 3's and stepped out of bounds every other play. Was really a pretty lazy player. Q-Rich was useless last season. Matt Barnes I'll give you. He lasted a season. Alston I'll give you. He lasted a season. We weren't being labelled a dirty team. Dwight was being labeled a dirty player.

which Otis then promptly showed the door too. I liked AJ, liked Pietrus before he started only chucking 3's. But then they were moved and Dwight had to defend alone again.

AJ was 35 years old, and Peaches had then morphed into a three point non-defending moron. We had Matt Barnes up until last year.

Isn't the TPE worth more if traded between a non-tax paying state and a tax paying state? Doesn't that mean we can accept a higher paying player or no? I believe the Lakers got a bigger TPE from Dallas because of that rule. Not sure how much of a difference it made, but that would help us out to get a better player. It would have to be used with another trade to keep our team salary down to stay out of the luxury tax.

I'm hoping we can get ellis for our pg spot but I don't see that happening today. Maybe before the trade deadline. Here is hoping Otis actually does something good before he is fired.

Warriors just traded for Brandon Rush. Now they have 2 backups at the 2. I could see if something about Ellis doesn't work out up until the trade deadline, they might deal him and move Thompson into starter, but it'd have to be a perfect storm type thing to work out that way.

Schmitz is such an idiot, how does he even get a press pass from the Magic. All he does is badmouth them.

Be honest, how many of you got a little excited when you saw "Report: Warriors Traded...." on the wiretap today?

The more I think of it (and I would really hate to see Dwight leave) if we had a 3 team deal like:

LAL Receives: Dwight + Hedo
Minny Receives: Pau
ORL Receives: Bynum + Love + Derrick Williams

I'd jump on that deal. It would be an exciting playoff team to watch, initially. But in 2 years, that would be a contending team imo.

Why would Wolves do that?

Why would Wolves do that?

I have no idea. I'm basing that assumption on the latest rumor. I think it's a terrible trade for Minny. Hell, I wouldn't trade Williams straight up for Pau. But the rumor has come up twice and Minny's FO is almost as inept as ours. So maybe it's worth a shot :dontknow:

Edit: Sorry, latest rumor was Pau for Love straight up. Wolves don't want Love to walk for nothing. Even if that was the case, I'd still think Love + Bynum wouldn't be a bad return for Dwight.

BS has never ever liked the Magic. The only reason he is there is for a paycheck and because the sentinel has terrible management.

No really, they're ecstatic.

I've seen prisoners happier to get their jumpsuits. If you photoshopped a newspaper into Al-Farouq Aminu's hands, you'd get a hostage photo.

How about a little enthusiasm fellas?

Wish this was dwights attitude
“I don’t want to put myself in the position where everyone thinks I’m the superstar right now, and I don’t want to act like one,” Gortat said. “I’m trying to stay humble and trying to get everything that’s possible in the game. I’m going to try to rebound, block as many shots as I can and obviously I’m going to try to help offensively, score as many points as I can and be a threat inside.
