With the sched this season, and a strong drop off behind amir at 5 those three will all see strong consistant minutes. Ed wont be lingering on the bench for great periods of time. We had to cycle ppl alot to get every one a look with only 2 pre season games. realistically the pre season will be played until about the end of the first week of the regular season. Ed will probably end up with 25+ mpg this year, and see several games of high 30 minute time.

Doubt...

Ed Davis has to be the most raw player ever though, he can't shoot worth a darn and still has average numbers.

No way, it's because he didn't look happy to be drafted to TO after falling 5-6 spots in the draft, seeing millions of dollars the level of commitment to his development drop considerably. You can just see it in those stoic eyes.

My steam was pretty blurry so maybe it wasn't him, but I swear Ed Davis had a block? Boxscores says he has none.

It looked more like he thought he would be a riser on draft nite and ended up falling.
He is still very raw with rather minimal exposure to the nba thus far and isnt a reliable shooter or have a go to post move yet. But he's got work ethic and great tools plus he will see plenty of the court this year.

The boxscore doesn't show it but Ed altered a lot of shots.

Yeah he did alter a lot of shots where he happened not to get a hand on it, but I clearly remember one where he sent it flying into the stands.

96 mins at pf+center...30/30/30 + 6...plenty of time for bargs + ed + amir...

with the new weight, i can easily see amir getting hurt his year which will give ed even more pt...

Probably was, through my stream they look like the same player.

He blocked a shot but got a phantom foul called on that play so he didn't get credit for it.

Yeah actually this is probably the play. After he made the block my stream froze and when it came back on 20 seconds later they were shooting free throws, I assumed that the foul came after an inbounds play. That was a clean block, no way was it a foul.

I'm guessing you have selective memory if you don't remember Jose hitting the 3 as soon as Bayless went off.
Do you actually think Bayless is better in a PnR than Jose? Besides, this is preseason so its better they make these mistakes now unless you're siding with Tank Nation.

I'm siding with tank nation, he did hit a 3 but he also got torched on defense by 3rd stringers.

For some reason, Amir and Bargs just see
m to have bad chemistry together.

We have enough depth - and a draft mission - to cut back his minutes a bit. I'll take a more balanced 35 minutes to 40 minutes tilted heavily towards the offensive end.

This game was so much fun to watch, loved the intensity. Good coaching and commitment by players goes a long way, looks like the Celtics are on a decline as well

Couple of observations

Someone has to get to the line for this team besides Bargnani. Come on, Demar

Someone has to whack Bayless on the head when he starts to go manno a manno

Someone has to tell Magloire to retire

Someone has to tell the refs that these measely touch fouls with hardly any contact take the juice out of the game.

Someone should tell me if we can redo the Mickael Pietrus trade ( boy, Rasual Butler is way over the hill, in fact he's in the next county).

Dtox.

Saw that as well about Jose(Torched).

Why the coach put him back in the game in the 4th was just plain dumb.

Bayless was ballin and in an groove and he gets yanked because poor Jose had not played in awhile.

Then you have people like Flatjacket who thinks because The Boy Bay had 4 TO's that he was terrible. Just looking at the boxscore when his TO's were him getiing into the heart of the paint and making things happen.

All in All not a bad game by Bay will do better next game and when the season starts, be prepared. He will dominate.

I really liked what Forbes brought today, although it continues to sadden me how historically tragic we are at the 3 that we'll continue to unfairly overrate guys like him, Weems, Moon, et al.
