Can Norris Cole be our future point gaurd?

Do you think Cole will be learn by playing with Lebron and Wade, and be our Rondo? He's athletic and seems to be a hard worker. He seems to be a natural baller, and I think playing for our defensive-minded and superstar core will benefit him, like the Big 3 in Boston benefited Rondo.

If he proves himself this year, yes. But he only played in a scrimmage, we need a LOT more time to even determine this. Also they just paid Mario 12 mil so... who knows.

I feel like the offense would sky rocket if he is floor general of the bench and not the starting line up, since LBJ and Wade need the ball more.

He seems like a scoring PG though, which is better for the bench.

Just going to have to wait on the course of the season, but he has great potential.

I know he scored in the scrimmage, but the sense I got was that he was a floor general all-around point guard, who knew how to pass the rock.

Definitely didn't strike me as a scoring PG. Chalmers is more that I think.

He's obviously got some talent, but let's at least wait till he's played a preseason game, let alone a regular season game, before we anoint him lol

I hope so but I'm not going to hold my breath

I gotta agree with everyone else. He certainly seems very promising and for sure looks like a better option than Chalmers, but let wait and see him play a few regular season games before we anoint him anything.

Even "WHEN" (not "if", "when") Cole proves to be Chalmers' superior I'd rather have him come off the bench and help our second unit out.

LBJ and Wade are so ball dominant in the first place I feel like they would take away from Cole's play-making which could be put to better use in our oftentimes stagnant 2nd unit.

I've been watching basketball for a long time and i can tell you that Cole is legit, he's got a bright future in front of him if he stays humble, works hard, and focus on playing with smarts. Def our best pg prospect in a long long time. 1

Cole finished with 21 points, 4 assists on 7-17 shooting against the starters so it's possible. He's definitely better offensively than Chalmers.

Need to see him in regular season action.

I want to see him in a more formal scenario than a scrimmage. I want to see how he adapts through the 4 quarters.
