NBA isn't a SYSTEM league is a PLAYERS league. The team with the most talent usually wins... Usually..

Well, that's one way to lose credibility.

i didn't hear stan's postgame comments but i take a wild guess....he'll say something along the lines of "We were getting good shots" "We just have to make shots"....i'm getting tired of hearing these kinds of words....I find it funny that Von Wafer was the only guard that wanted to Attack

I did not see every minute of the game tonight, but from what I did see the shots we were getting were open, the players just weren't making them. That doesn't seem like a system issue, that seems like a player issue. The Magic are a jump shooting team that can't shoot......
May I see some documentation on that please?

SVG's system is designed around the players on the roster (in this case, the majority being those who specialize in threes). It would be a different system if he had different players. Really not that hard to figure out guys.

I've been drinking, while watching this team suck it up! Forgive the not making sense part and go with what I'm trying to say here. Our team shoots too many damn three pointers. A team that shoots 30 of them is going to have less energy. ANd i'll take that bet with anyone. You shoot 30 three pointers and I'll take 30 midrange shots. Whose going to make more wide open shots?

We went to the ECOF two years ago... Come on.. We had 1 real bad season where we lost to the Hawks.

Who did we play to get to the ECF that year? What happened when Stan's system when up against a real team in the ECF? We went down 3-0. What happened when we changed it up? It was 3-2. What happened when he switched back in game six to the original plan. We lost 4-2!

Your missing my point. Stan's system has been figured out by 20 of 30 NBA teams. At some point you change it up when it doesn't work anymore. He hasn't! Man is too stubborn and keeps calling out players...

Not the players...

What? We shot more than 25+ 3s in both games we had won. Dwight was terrible in Game 1 and Jameer and Carter shot .333 percent in game 2..Once again Dwight laid in egg in game 3 again... We ran the same system though.. Only difference is we made our shots. We ran the same system that got us to the finals.

No duh because its a hire percentage shot! Not because it takes less energy.. WTF?? Thats like saying you take a mid range and I take a layup and see who makes more..

Well, a layup takes less energy than a midrange jumper obviously. 8-)

Boy, J-Rich, Redick and Anderson has a problem with Stan system tonight........... Glad our captains decided to shoot a great 2-19 while our role players actually played well on offense...Lets blame Stan for that one..

That means a dunk should take less energy than a layup.

I just want somebody to explain to me why we can't have a Mid-range game? you don't need creators for it just set screens and shoot INSIDE the 3pt line...What's wrong with shooting a little closer to the basket? we have great shooters on our team but have them always taking the lowest percentage shot you can take on the court every single time....You don't even have to replace the current system just have it as a plan B or something...it's way too easy for defenses to shut down and it's too easy for our players to fall in love with the shot and settle......Maybe this was the Culture change Dwight was referring to

Its hard to blame the offense. I mean 85 points isn't good but still the Heat dropped 118 on us. Im more disappointed in the defense than the offense. The role players played well. Dwight and Jameer were chucking up a house for the 3 lil pittmans to live in...

It is easy to trash SVG's system while not coming up with one that would work better....

We don't have players who can creat shots for themselves and others, it is pretty bad....Hedo is probably the best at it on our team. Let that sink in for a minute. If Dwight had Shaq's passing ability we'd be WAY better.

not exactly true. he also goes out of his way to get guys like ryan anderson and never gave brandon bass (a traditional 4) a fair chance. He also never posts up jrich although he is known to having a decent post game. Stan plays 4 out - 1 in and rarely deviates from that.

Not the players we have?????
