Re: Orlando Magic vs Miami Heat Pre-Season
Maybe it is the players we have...i don't know i'm just tired of seeing the same ish for 3 years....More than a Mid-Range game i would just love it if we would just push it more....When we first made the trade then we went on like a 9 game winning streak that was beautiful basketball...We were running and gunnin....Cutting into the lane to get penetration then kicking it out for shots....We had so much movement it was amazing to watch at times...Then things screeched to a halt and we began walking the ball up the court again....i wish we would run more

that starts and ends with your point guard. We made it to the final WITHOUT Jameer. Skip PUSHED THE BALL night in, night out.

Re: Orlando Magic vs Miami Heat Pre-Season
I don't there there is a team in the league that shoots better from mid-range than they do from 3 point or down low when weighted for points scored. The key is using your mid-range ability to get the defense off the 3-pt line and using your 3-pt game to get the defense out of the paint.

I had to go to a wedding, didn't get to watch the game. What's the prognosis here? I see a lot of talk on twitter saying Dwight didn't try. Was it that? or did he just have a bad game? Can someone summarize?

Re: Orlando Magic vs Miami Heat Pre-Season
I'm not saying that we should replace our current system with a Mid-range game just use it to supplement the system that we have now....like a contingency...If the 3 isn't falling we can use the Mid-Range to open it up more and get our players back in Rhythm...But it seems like when the 3 isn't falling we just shoot more 3's it gets insane at times..watching miss after miss...it kinda eats away at you you know?

He didn't have a good game, some people will overanalyze and say that he was tanking or that he was doing bad on purpose so that he can get traded. But the truth is him and Nelson had bad games and hopefully this motivates them for Wednesday's game.

No he didnt, he seemed completely disinterested from the beginning of the game.

You know what I love about people like you....you seem to forget that once a person asks a question and told the answer, they most definitely have the ability to understand.
Yeah...a girl like me who didn't know the difference between a pick and roll and a pick and pop, had the courage to ask, can not only spot it but understand the reason for it. I'm also really good at analyzing....and the same thing that I've said before had almost all come to pass. So regardless if your ignorant comments was meant to put me down I'm still going to continue learning the game.
And do me a favor and go annoy someone else.
No, sister. You're not really good at analysis. Most here have forgotten more about basketball than you know. And this board is clueless. Go back and crawl under your rock.

What I figured..
How bout the rest of the team? It looks like the only production came out of JJ and Ryan

yeah, this team's inability to recognise the difference Skip made by pushing the ball is just insane. i don't get why Jameer can't push the break, it's not like it's a challenging facet to add to your game. you get the ball and run...

Von Wafer showed hints of goodness. Hedo got injured in a nasty fall. JJ and Ryan were in chuck mode although Ryan id make a couple from the baseline and a dunk or two I think.

Jameer and Dwight were terrible. Big Baby didn't play so well. Ryno, JJ, Jrich were good. Well J-Rich was decent could have played better. Earl Clark played some solid defense but Bron is Lebron. Clark didn't look too well on offense. Hedo got injured. nd Miami shot over 60% and put up 118. One of those kind of games..

Dude.... who cares what she knows? if she's trying to learn, if she loves the game, who cares? She asks a question.. answer it.
Good lord, if someone doesn't know every single rule, move, and play of the game they can't come in here? Chill out.

Also, don't discount Skip's defense and passing. Jameer is a MUCH better scorer than Skip ever was, but I would take prime Skip all day, every day over Jameer.
