that starts and ends with your point guard. We made it to the final WITHOUT Jameer. Skip PUSHED THE BALL night in, night out.

yeah, this team's inability to recognise the difference Skip made by pushing the ball is just insane. i don't get why Jameer can't push the break, it's not like it's a challenging facet to add to your game. you get the ball and run...

No, you don't get the ball and run. You get the ball and pass. Does anyone here even understand this game?

Jameer has really fell off. He was one an allstar in the league before his injury. Now its like not even top 15 it feels like sometimes.. Gotta look at the other PGs on the roster...

No he didnt, he seemed completely disinterested from the beginning of the game.

Whatever you say. I've seen just about every game of his career. He tried.

He didn't play smart on offense. How many jumpshots did he take?

all the highlights I am watching look like he played decent on defense, but he really doesn't look like he's playing very hard.. Not saying he's not trying but there's no way his disgruntled-ness didn't effect his game tonight from what I'm seeing.

Looking back at that video Skip was really good for us....Attacking...Passing skills...pushing the ball....Stan shouldn't have played Meer over him in the finals...i think that was Stan's loyalty at work there...Would kill for a PG like Skip right now

Our other PGs are duhon and pruitt. I would rather just use hedo or play another 2 guard then duhon...

I'm worried that Stan wants to run a unit composed of Nelson JJ and Jrich on a regular basis... Its ok against certain matchups but that is a small back court,

People, we shot better from 3pt% than from 2pt% in the game! Yet you are all complaining that we shot too many 3s and we shouldve shot more 2pt fgs because they're a much higher %? Lol. We shot just about what we typically shoot as a team from 3pt fg%.....there wasn't anything wrong with that. The problem was we couldn't hit a 2 to save our lives. We shot 35.5% from 3pt fg% which is equivalent scoring-wise to shooting over 53% from 2pt fg%. We shot 35% in 2pters. I understand it isn't a perfect comparison, but lets not act like the 3pt shooting was the issue.....from a make/take standpoint, it's relatively similar to what we have been very successful in the past 3 years with. Not to mention, as guys get their legs and such, things will start to fall. This was the FIRST GAME BACK in like 8 months almost. You could def see it in Jameer's legs, and J-Rich's as the game went on. I was encouraged a bit by some times taking it to the hole a little more though, esp in the first half. It shouldn't be too surprising that the guys who trained all summer (boxing, training, working out, hiring personal coaches to rebound balls for them, etc) in Ryan and JJ were the guys who played the best. Anyways, I'm not going to go too crazy over one game, and I'm certainly not going to act like it was the 3pt % that killed us. Dwight played like crap, and Jameer played worse than any of us prob would've. I was impressed by Baby's defensive effort. Meer and Dwight obv won't play like that all year, so I'm not too worried about that. Outside of that, I wasn't really too disappointed in anybody.

I meant on other rosters to see if hes top 15. Lol I know for a fact that this team has no other PG on the roster that is any good.. lol Duhon was killing me.. You see how much wait he gained??

aint no liquor makes you that crazy son. The real problem is you need to turn off that light before your parents catch you up on the laptop posting past bed time. Get a good night sleep and get a basketball in the morning and play before the bell rings. You will notice it takes much more energy to either cut into the arc or drive within it then pull up for a shot than it is to simply stay out at the perimeter, release higher and extend your hands.

In short You are talking utter and absolute nonsense.

And here I thought you were Puerto Rican! Some liquor makes you all kinds of crazy. I'm probably older then you son...but I am happily married with a job! I don't go to the DMV and collect unemployment like your daddy. In fact the taxes I pay from that paycheck are probably going towards your food, mommy's rent and your internet. Disappointing!

Did I say anything about driving to the hoop or pulling up for jumpshots? Of course that exerts more energy. News flash T-MAC got traded to the Rockets 7 years ago. Our team doesn't have anyone that can drive to the hoop. What I said was we'd be better to reign in the threes and shoot more mid range jump shots.Higher percentage shots are what they teach you in the beginning of organized basketball. The point that myself and others are starting to make. Teams have figured us out and it's easy for them to get back and cover the three point line in our predictable offense. We need many things on this team right now. Continuing with this offense is the absolute nonsense part and it's crazy to think we can win if we stay with this offensive set.

This team will end up being very good imo as long as we keep Dwight. I really liked what I saw from Davis, from his activity, his screens, his defense, really all of it. He is an upgrade. I like what I see in Earl too and think he'll be an upgrade over QRich in the rotation. I'm pissed we don't have Arenas, period; Nelson is good but not reliable as a starter. Nelson consistently leaves 18 mpg to a back up, and that just isn't good enough. Duhon in the rotation simply won't cut it, we need an upgrade at the 1. Anderson and JJ off the bench is going to be terrific offense all year long. Hedo is going to be great too as we won't ask him to do too much and his shooting and facilitating will be huge.

Nelson's inability to play heavy mins is our teams biggest weakness, tbh.

These guys are professional athletes they shouldn't be feeling it in their legs the first preseason game of the season. What have they been doing during the lockout, playing video games?
