When Miami loses a preseason blowout, they can say "Relax, this is the Pre-Season". That is because they are championship contenders. A worthless game like this isn't going to change the fact that they will likely be in the ECF, Finals or holding a trophy next year. But what about us?

Forget the game. The point is our roster is garbage. It is garbage in the preseason and garbage in the regular season.

Anyone who wants to win a championship has every right to be in panic mode this early.

You bro's need to get laid if y'all are already in panic mode over a pre-season game....

You obviously didn't read my post.

I could care less about the game. This team sucks either way. Hows that?

What is your criteria for 'sucks'?

I'll skip that and get straight to the point. The Magic aren't contenders.

That was not the point. Unless you aren't referring to my question that you quoted?

The Magic were offed in the 1st Round. A team that didn't come anywhere close to winning a championship can't be considered a championship contender in my opinion.

Why, what is YOUR criteria?

The Magic might have a shot at making it out of the first if they keep Dwight but Miami is the clear cut favorite to win it all this year.

I know it was only a preseason game but Orlando cannot beat them in a 7-game series.

In the regular season, I think Orlando will take 1 of 4.

I am an optimist but I just feel this is true.

I dont understand why pepole keep blaming our our offensive problems on the three point shooting.
Three point shooting is what brought us to the finals in 09 and to sweep our first and second rounds opponets in 2010.
The same year we changed our game from an inside out-spread the floor offense to a more traditional scheme with brandon bass starting is the same year we lost in the first round, and to the hawks no less.

Face it pepole, we simply dont have players on this team who can consistently break down opposing defenses and make plays, and we dont have a superstar playmaker who can get everone involved and create easy buckets.

An offensive scheme based on one guy's low post game and the entire team's three point shooting may not be the ultimate offensive system but it would be ideal for our team given our players' shortcomings in athleticism, ball handling and size.

I think the key to becoming a contender again is to start ryan next to dwight in order to have enough spacing and ball movement, even in the limited mintues yesterday when ryno and dwight were playing together we were getting quality shots and heat had no answer.
I think its obvious we need to get back to what made us a contender in the first place.

You obviously do care and put weight into the game if you're already making these assumptions
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Everyone sucked tonight, including Howard. Actually I take that back. Anderson and Redick looked great. Seemed to be the only two who cared.
