I'll probably throw sign ups by Tuesday. Hoping I can get someone to step up and help run one with me.

Yeah, we'd be playing with the new CBA rules. There was a post at another site along with a website that laid out the changes with the new CBA. It'll be in one of the OP. I was looking for someone who'd be willing to run FA and then someone to help out with the draft.

I'll put signups up after Christmas sometime, and it will be back to normal, a more traditional 2 weeks trading, 1 week draft/FA, 1 week trading, 1 week writeups/rankings.
I can't do it all by myself, if someone could help with either FA or draft, that would help a ton. Last time I ran it, I did most of the stuff by myself, and I'm not sure I can do that again.
I also will be looking for a panel of about 2-3 people to help decide on the 2 major FAs (Deron and Dwight, since Paul picked up his option) and to help decide draft order. I'd like these people to be guys outside of the game.

What if we kinda simulated a season feeling that prevented teams from playing on just value?
So heres my idea. Every few days, have someone(s) outside of the game rank everyone based on talent (like we do for the draft). Then assign a win value each time they rank. So for each time, it would look something like this:
Teams ranked 1-3 get a record of 9-1
Teams ranked 4-6 get a record of 8-2
Teams ranked 7-9 get a record of 7-3
Teams ranked 10-12 get a record of 6-4
Teams ranked 13-15 get a record of 5-5
Teams ranked 16-18 get a record of 4-6
Teams ranked 19-21 get a record of 3-7
Teams ranked 22-24 get a record of 2-8
Teams ranked 25-27 get a record of 1-9
Teams ranked 27-29 get a record of 0-10
Which is all 30 teams.
If we do that say 4 times during the course of the game before the draft, then each team will have gone through 40 "games". Then maybe at draft time, do one final ranking that has more weight (IE counting as 20 games instead), then determine the draft order from the overall rankings throughout the "year".
Idk if this is a great idea or a bad one, it just popped into my head, would love some feedback.

Not a bad idea, but you're assuming that all 30 GMs have kept their roster pages up to date and that hasn't happened ever.

Example
Most RFA try to get paid. Guys with breakout yrs try to get paid.
Plus original teams get an extra day or so to Sign and trade or Resign.
Top ones Like a Kris Huphries get longer than just 24 hrs
Older with Rings
Ray Allen, KG, Opportunity with criteria written out Like West Coast Preference.
