Correction:
ATL could trade S and T Marvin for Dalembert.
Trade Hinrich to whoever wants him and has cap room and sign Young for 4.0 or 4.5M, still save 3.5 to 4.1M for future FA: Thorton or room in trade.

Re: nick Young?
With Nick Young accepting their 1 year qualifier I believe it makes trading him tricky. He can't be traded without his permission because it would cause the loss of his bird rights. That would mean next summer a team would have to be under the cap to sign him to anything more than using the MLE. That includes the team that trades for him. Alternatively he could stay put this year and maintain his bird rights with Washington and still have unrestricted status if he wants to leave for what he can get.
Going to donkey punch a leprechaun!

Re: nick Young?
^^ Eh, a few things here:
1) You can no longer SNT Bird Rights
2) Nick Young isn't a guy that teams will consider giving an exceptionally large contract
3) If WASH amnesties Rashard Lewis (as rumored), then they'll be significantly under the cap anyway
So, I wouldn't think that Nick Young would decline a deal. He doesn't help himself in any way financially by declining a trade and, if anything, helps himself by showing the ability to be a team player.
As far as the moves in the OP(s), I don't really like them. Nick Young is OK, but not someone I'd want on more than a vet mini. The only things he has going for him is that he's still somewhat young and he can hit a 3. He has very little ability to create (or even dribble for that matter) and very little care to defend or rebound. Sure, one can say he's young and that can be corrected, but I wouldn't go into the LT to take that chance. Honestly, I'd prefer to keep Marvin over going after him - at least Marvin will put forth effort on the defensive end.
I've also always wondered why so many want Dalembert here. He's another guy that I see as a role player... and we've got his role covered. If we needed an interior shot blocking presence or some boards, then I could see him, but that's exactly what we get with the Horford/Smoove duo. We need a more physical presence to offset the athletes we already got in the post. Is Dalembert the guy who can push D12 off the low block? If not, then Twin is a better answer and he's already on the roster.
