Before the season opener, Orlando again next. Any idea if they will get a run out?

Joseph Goodman: Eddy Curry says he has lost 15 pounds in 10 days. Looks like it, too. about 7 minutes ago

I'm glad he is focused on getting into playing shape, but that doesnt even sound healthy.

yea, that's really werid. the guy had like 6 months to lose weight..was he waiting for the season to strat to really go hard? :-?

anyway i guess it's good news, if he somehow get to REAL SHAPE, i mean HEAT SHAPE (for him with his size i would say he should be around 250) - we might see things we never saw from him even in the Knicks days.

well, one can dream. :-?

He had more like 16 months to lose weight. Remember last off-season? He wanted to play in the NBA and we gave him a look? The guy has had forever to lose weight.

I am just going to say what Knicks fans always say about him. No heart, no work ethic, lazy bum.

I hope he proves everyone wrong and has a monster year.

Actually it was less than 10 months ago that Curry initially expressed interest in joining the Heat, following his release from Minnesota on the heels of the Knicks trade.

It's been about 9 months since Riley first worked him out, back in April, then passed on signing him shortly before start of the playoffs.

Placed in its proper context, Curry's weight loss between early April and now is nothing short of astounding.

Twitter says they're not playing in the last preseason game. So no Battier until the season opener, and who knows when we'll see Curry.

Man, I hope Lebron didn't strain Battier's quad, we know he likes to injure people who are going to play off the bench for him lmao.

Half the problem with curry is that he's so busy losing weight that the moment you put him on the basketball court to do drills and scrimmages he gets a soft tissue injury because he's not conditioned well enough.

Curry's lost a good 70 pounds of fat. I think the last report of 10 pounds is water and muscle weight that he lost through unhealthy dieting.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

I am no medical expert but losing that much weight and then to play NBA games can not be that good for your body? He may even get injured easier i think, i remember when i lost 50 pounds, going from 230 to around 180 and i had alot less energy just lifting weights.
