Discussing Other NBA Games 2.0

Post#1 » by closg00 » Sun Dec 18, 2011 3:52 am

Has anyone been following the other worthless pre-season games? Still interesting to read the box scores anyway.

Minny looks drastically improved with Rubio looking good and making the highlight reel early.
My kingdom for Derrick Williams, he looks like a future allstar.

Jordan Hill with the Double-Double
Kawhi Leonard with 6 rebounds and not much else on the stat-sheet.

Puh-lease. Most other point guards, including Rose and Deron Williams, have managed to accrue... guess what.... six turnovers as well.

First preseason game after a crammed, hyperspeed "training camp" just leads to sloppy play.

He didn't play.

Beasley looked good, hopefully he has a big season.

Man, the Timberwolves have a lot of guys who can shoot the three- Bigs and wing players. Love, Williams, Tolliver, Wesley Johnson, Barea (Martell Webster?). Adelman is an excellent coach, and if Rubio is as good at finding people as advertised, they could surprise some teams this year with young legs and 3 point shooting.

ANd for anyone that hasn't seen, you have to look at Kevin Love. He appears to be in amazing shape; looks like he lost 20-30lbs (and still got 15 boards in 3 quarters):

Sigh, if only Blatche had his work ethic...

I'm going to go see the Minnesota game, it's a Sunday matinee, I'm taking the kids. Scored some nice seats in section 107.

Ken Faried with the slam at 1:40, he stuffed the stat sheet in his 15 min of playing-time.

Demarcus Cousins went for the triple double of suck, but didn't quite reach it. 6 points on 2-9 shooting with 9 TOs. And I thought Blatche was the most inefficient player last night...not even.
