Rockets Sign CHandler Parsons to four year deal

Post#1 » by aznkillabeezZz » Mon Dec 19, 2011 1:14 pm

I have a feeling this guy would make more impact than Marcus morris in the first year. But he doesnt look anything special. But at least it appears he can shoot well. A better rounded Steve novak?

^^ less athletic and a much worse shooter... he is like a lesser version of Mike MIller, great rebounder, dribbler, passer, not Budinger explosive & minus Miller's shooting ability.

At FLA Parsons never seemed to take over games even though he is a beast, much like Miller(should be a much better player, just never asserts himself)

You know he was SEC Player of the Year (since we know you love those SEC awards)
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

I never watched him play. But saw a practice session for rockets. I disagree that he is a good rebounder. He seems to have weak upper body strength. And will get bullied inside. I would put him leap years behind budinger at the moment. Budinger has had great moments in the NBA and somewhat a great asset when healthy. He just isnt consistent. Parsons is a rookie, we'll see how he'll do. He's a second rounder so he won't flop , he's already won by getting a contract. Marcus morris I think might flop. he is severely undersized. Doesnt have chuck hayes to mentor him. And he takes too many sloppy outside shots. Small F's like him need to bang inside. If they keep shooting outside, that just tells you they dont want to develop their inside game or they're too weak.

I never watched Florida play but what y'all say disappoints me. I was hoping he was a three point shooter he would use #50 and grow a goatee and become Matt Bullard incarnate

Return to Houston Rockets
