In the intermin, if we put him on the court and he plays well, he could have some trade value to a team needing a wing. Green is a young SF with some potential who is still on his rookie deal.

Again, the problem comes in with SAC. They've got Hickson and Jason Thompson at the 4 spot. Unless they think Tyrus can provide some of the same veteran intangiables as Hayes would have, I dont think they'd be interested.

Eh, Garcia isn't a guy that makes sense for us. I like Donte Greene but we don't need a multi-year wing player that's going to take time away from younger guys.

Now, I like the idea of TT for Greene, Whiteside (NC native and project), and a lotto protected 1st. I think SAC will be in the playoffs in the near future so we could grab a 15-20 to make up for the one we sent to Chicago.

It's not that I dislike Tyrus but the injuries worry me. Even if he's an absolute beast, it does us no good if he can't play. Greg Oden might be a top 10 center but he never plays so his skill level is irrelevant.
