btw... I think Earl Clark should definitely be the back-up SF behind Hedo from now on. Q-Rich should just stay on the end of the bench... along with Duhon.

I disagree. Q played with heart and confidence today. Loved the energy he brought. Earl only played a few minutes but he played pretty awful in those minutes

no way, earl hasn't done anything on both ends of the court, hes still not ready...Q brings a lot of intensity to the team, he plays solid defense, and he wont back down from anyone...

earl is still far away from being in the rotation on a game to game basis, he hasnt figured it out yet

And I'm positive Clark got yanked because he was lazy on defense... He was on LeBron so there's only so much he can do, but he looked like he wasn't trying. He gave LeBron A LOT of space and just watched him drive by him. Q was constantly in his face. Even when LeBron was holding it up at half court where you would expect him to just drive b Q, Q stuck with him and forced Bron to shoot an air ball. You could tell LeBron was flustered.. Clark is not at the point where he can do that.

I'm for Clark getting some play, but he is HUGELY overrated on this board. He's supposedly a lock down defender, but his defense has been a struggle in these games. He's just got a lot to learn, which isn't a bad thing.

na, I think the best thing for him will be to learn from our guys here. He just needs to embrace the Rookie role. It's going to take a little longer with him. And that's fine.

Definitely agree on the last paragraph here. The guy certainly has potential but he is just not ready. I am sure he'll get another chance at it though as his length and size can certainly bother those scoring forwards if he puts his heart into it 100%.

So having gone to bed when we were down 18 in the second quarter, it was something of a pleasant surprise to wake up and see that we turned it around in the second half, although this win comes with the same caveat that the loss did on Sunday - it's preseason.

Looked at the box score, can anyone give me a summary of how Harper and Liggins did? (And Orton, for that matter) Saw a couple of tweets saying they played really well, particularly Liggins, and was very pleased to see that he had 4 assists (and zero three point attempts).

How's about the rest of the team? Looked like Meer and the Richardsons stepped up their games, and Dwight and Baby got more aggressive in the frontcourt.

Harper kind of shied away, made a couple mistakes, but drained some big shots. Liggins was good defensively as well as finding some guys for the 4 assists. And Orton came in and drained back to back jumpers lol.

Jameer came in the 3rd and fired the team up, making great plays up and down the floor, J-rich made a good few during that time, Q played excellent on Lebron (as well as some confrontations). Dwight was pretty good doing what he does, and Shamoo (big baby) looked great getting some good layups, jumpers, and post shots. Even Larry Hughes came in and played great at PG on defense, getting steals, and a couple big shots.

Lebron doesn't like to play physical basketball like Kobe.

I keep trying to say this offense goes with Jameer, and it kills me because he isn't consistent. When this guy is running and getting into the lane that is when we are at our best. In the first half he was dribbling around the arc looking for shooters. Second half he came out dribbling into the paint looking for shooters and midrange players. We are much more effective when he does that. Jameer has the talent to play like that, but most of the time he would rather play like Duhon and not make mistakes. If he makes a mistake o well, most PGs do. I'd rather have 8-10 assist and 3 turnovers than 5 assist 2turnovers..

I disagree with Harper. I thought he did oustanding for his first game against Miami on the defensive end which was a surprise to me. He was good on rotations, quick feet, and played Haslem quite well. He did seem kind of soft but he did beat his man to positions and kept Haslem from getting deep position on him.

Well, for a pre-sweater vest. My vote would be for Davis.

I might have to give it to Q solely for manning up to Lebron and putting that lil byotch in his place (after two obvious elbows/pushes). I think that was the real turning point in the game, showing that we weren't scared of them. Even STAN got behind Q on that one. That's what we need more of on this team, some toughness. Baby was awesome too tonight.
