There goes a Dwight trade.

Sucks for Brook, he's a good guy. I hope he comes back quickly.

I'm going to guess anywhere from 2-3 months. He'll be in a cast and he'll be out of game shape by the time he recovers. I think Robin went through the same thing last year. In other words, don't look for a Dwight trade.

Some googling revealed that it would take 4-8 weeks to recover from. So it's at least a month gone. This is a major blow, and it couldn't happen at a worse time.

NYDNInterNets Stefan Bondy
Billy King said he’s looking for a replacement for Brook but won’t rush it.

Pretty much confirms that this is a fairly long layoff.

Oh this is just great. Lopez might just be the unluckiest player in the league. He was the only guy with talent on a team that won 12 games and will forever be blamed that. Mono which made him miss offseason training and conditioning which played a part in a rather lackluster season... and now that he's poised to have a big year gets injured in a f***ing preseason game.

Who the hell starts at Center now? Williams? Wow, we're gonna be terrible this year.

Deron calls Brook news “definitely devastating.” Says you can’t control injuries. #Nets

What I don't understand is that if he got the injury in the first half, then WHY did he play in the second half?

Maybe he thought it was just an ache when the injury happened and like Lopez always does, decided to play through it. Hey, give him credit, he did well in the second.
