You can't say chemistry doesn't matter especially on the fact that is a short and compressed season. A team with better chemistry will have the better record.

You can't knock on the Pacers because again, they will have a better chemistry since they didn't make a big roster change and added players that knows how to play. The impact players they had were young and will only go up from here on out. They have a pretty complete roster but! I'm not saying they are anything special, they are stuck in a mediocrity and will be a 1st round exit team.

This is the same thing with the 76ers.

The Bucks was a good team 2 years was just sheer luck(the surprise team) and just played with confidence. They are still a competitive team but their decline was the addition of a bunch of stat padders.

The Hornets are the only team that you can compare to our situation... However, the difference between the Nets and the Hornets was the coaching. Monty Williams got their players to play through their strengths. Avery however, does the opposite and put his player in an uncomfortable state. Which is why this team doesn't know how to rotate offensively and defensively. This is what's Avery problem as a coach, he has this vision in his mind that he tries put on his players instead of just playing through their strengths. He also let CP3 dictate where the team is heading.

I understand that you feel that the Nets are a Perennial Play-off team because we have Deron and Brook. However, unless Avery change uptight style of coaching. He will hold this team down to being only just a slip in, on the 8th seed.

I have NEVER said chemistry doesn't matter, all I said is you personally cannot, nor can I judge a team like Philly or Indiana having chemistry.

This Philly team that supposedly had chemistry missed the playoffs the year before and missed the playoffs before that with teams with "chemistry".

You want to tell me Boston or Miami or OKC will have chemistry, I will not dispute that, it makes sense in context for sure.

You can't knock on the Pacers because again, they will have a better chemistry since they didn't make a big roster change and added players that knows how to play.

Aah, on to Indy.

Actually what happened is the exact opposite of what you've said.

They have made 2 MAJOR additions to their core and rotation players and another couple minor changes to guys that were true rotation players.

You have ZERO idea if they will click and mesh.

The impact players they had were young and will only go up from here on out. They have a pretty complete roster but! I'm not saying they are anything special, they are stuck in a mediocrity and will be a 1st round exit team.

I mainly agree with this, but what's to stop them from being the new Milwaukee?

One really good impact star and a bunch of solid role guys with a young guy with potential who might flop or regress or remain static and a super shaky point guard situation with a bunch of najor changes.

And Granger has regressed, there's no denying that, it's a fact and he has never had the impact of a Bogut. Plus last year was the first in maybe 3 or 4 seasons he was healthy.

To me they're a playoff team, but not a team with a better record then a team like us and not a team that will make any noise.

This is the same thing with the 76ers.

The Sixers repeating as a playoff team has everything to do with if Jrue and Turner can take the next step.

The snuck in last year as a sporadic team with no star or top 30 player that went on a couple really great runs over the course of the season to rack up wins.

Philly right now is the classic mediocrity treadmill team that has to fight to just make the playoffs while if missing never landing a high enough pick to take the next step.

We'll see if they even keep Iggy.

Sixers are nothing like the Pacers except that they're not guaranteed anything and aren't very good.

The Bucks was a good team 2 years was just sheer luck(the surprise team) and just played with confidence. They are still a competitive team but their decline was the addition of a bunch of stat padders.

No.

The Bucks had a stud big man with huge impact and a bunch of proper role players set up around him and a chucker to put some points on the board.

They were setup horribly for any type of future aspirations, but if Bogut is healthy they are a playoff squad even with garbage around him.

They didn't get lucky. Well actually they did, cause Bogut remaining healthy any given season is luck.

That is why they sucked last year.

Yes they added some terrible players, but that's not why they missed. It was injuries.
Stars win, Bogut is a star and a player you can build and win around, he's just not a league leader type star, he can't be your best player if you want to go further then the 2nd round.

The Hornets are the only team that you can compare to our situation... However, the difference between the Nets and the Hornets was the coaching.

I hate Avery, but this is your opinion and nothing more and is completely far fetched and a stretch.

Monty has proven nothing.

Coaching matters but you're overrating it.

And as for Avery, although I don't like him and hate his style, he brought a Mavs team to the Finals and then to the best record in the league.

He is not a technically bad coach by any stretch of the imagination.

Basically, Monty Williams was a Byron Scott.

He managed personalities and let his star point guard just go out and play.

I don't even think he's a good coach, he just let's them do what they want, but he's the locker room and sideline shrink so to speak.

I understand that you feel that the Nets are a Perennial Play-off team because we have Deron and Brook. However, unless Avery change uptight style of coaching. He will hold this team down to being only just a slip in, on the 8th seed.

Nonsense.

My opinion has passion because I'm a Nets fan, but it has relevance because history over and over has showed us I am right a vast majority of the time.

Again, you tried cherry picking examples and they still failed you when I replied with proper logic and fact instead of, "Ooh I luvz that Montyz Pythonz dude!"

Everything you said was basically the opposite of reality.

How bout you break last year's Knix down pre and post Melo trade?

Superstars win.

We are not any type of contender and legit team, but off sheer talent and fit of role players we are a playoff lock with health and a 6 seed at worst or else we are a complete disappointment.

There is no reason we should snag the 4 or 5 seed as is.

Please, break down NOH legitimately by roster and style and competition instead of just saying Avery is garbage and Monty is awesome sauce.

You want to avoid that cause you'll get torched even worse then you have in this breakdown.

Vince, you may want to back off your "this is a playoff team" schtick just a tad now. I'm not sure this is a 20 win team with out Lopez.

Without Lopez?

But we have Lopez, no?

Not for at least a month, which would make his season only a 43 game one.

Yikes.

Wow we're toast now.

I had a bad feeling that's what you meant, I had to close out the internet right after I posted that.

Can't catch a break huh?
