Memo's going to New Jersey for a 2nd round pick and a trade exception.

Clears $10 mil off books

Shows confidence in Kanter.

Emotions aside, this makes sense, saves $ in a season we're not going to be contending, gives more minutes to the young guns and gets us a trade exception...

That being said I **** hate seeing memo leave..I love memo

Makes sense dollars wise and even development wise, but I'm with seejaydeja, I HATE seeing Memo leave......

One of my all-time favorite Jazz players....... And always will be......

It's a 2015 2nd rounder apparently. Hate to see Memo go, but this is a good trade for the Jazz and for Memo. He will get a lot of playing time in NJ and the Jazz can play the young guys. Can only imagine the kind of reception Memo will get when the Nets play the Jazz in SLC.

All I can say is the Jazz better use that trade exception on one hell of a good player. Memo will be missed.
