Hopefully Hayward pulls his head out, he's been terrible so far.

This should be a pretty easy victory with Bynum out, the Lakers adjusting to a new system, Kobe injured, Odom gone, Artest fat and probably finished, etc, but I think the team has too much to decide on offense and defense and with the rotation for anything to be easy to start the year.

Its too bad Elijah Millsap was cut. Troy Murphy is going to light us up just because.

Pretty much a perfect storm to beat the lakers this year.

Hurt Kobe
Suspended Bynum
No Odom
3rd game in 3 nights vs opening night after several practices

Is would be a very bad loss on our end if we blow it.

Glad I can watch the game. I have no free days to sit around for the cable company to come.

No Bynum nor Kobe. They will be tired too (3rd game of a back-to-back-to-back). I think we win.

Oh and ofcourse now there is no Okur. I guess O'Conner is sold on our youth in the frontcourt. I am.

I am too. Lets run them out of their own building. After years of getting killed there out youth will start a new tradition. lets go for 2 in a row in LALA land.

i didn't realize that without kobe and bynum, this looks like probably the worst team in the league.

Locke's guess for wing and big man minutes is:

Al-32
Millsap-28
Favors-28
Hayward-28
CJ-24
Howard-24
Bell-16
Kanter-8
Burks-4

That many minutes to Howard and Bell would be pretty absurd.

Yeah, they both have about 16 more minutes more than they really need

This.

I don't understand why everyone is so ready to shoe in Howard for huge minutes. Seems to me it's because his name is Josh Howard, rather than anything else. He looked improved in the 2nd preseason game, and he looks healthy. But let's freaking give it some time, I mean he's hardly a shoe-in.
