3 team trad involving melo/durant

Post#1 » by NoStatsGuy » Fri Dec 23, 2011 4:51 pm

Hey fellas, just want some opinions im pretty new to fantasy.

we have a 14 player league head to head modus.

My Team gives away

Gerald Wallace/David Lee/Javale McGee

my team gets

Melo/Roy Hibbert/S. Dalembert

The original trade looks like

myteam trades away

wallace/Lee vs Durant/Dally

follow up

Durant/McGee vs Melo/Hibbert

my team is lookin like this now:

Guards: Jrue Holiday, RIP HAmilton, Jameer Nelson, Jimmer Fredette, Iman Shumpert, Gordon Hayward

Forwads: Melo, Derrick Favors, Tyler Hansbrough, (Hayward/RIP)

Center: Enes KAnter, Dally, Hibbert

what are your thoughts on this?

icouldve kept durant and save mcgee in thaht process. technically it was wallace and lee vs durant or melo i just wanted a superstar :/

I can understand the 1st trade... But why the hell would you trade Durant + McGee for Melo + Hibbert?

Durant > Melo
McGee > Hibbert

i really think melo will be a surpise for a lot of people..

he is damn motivated on defense and the offense will run through him a lot, at least thats what MDA said and the preseason looked like.

i expect his assists, blocks and steals to go up, slightly tho. But enough to match durant or even surpass him. And Hibbert ist more talented on offense than McGee, im just hoping at this point :D

i have melo ranked 11th so i agree he'll surprise.

but he's not in the universe of durant

hibbert's a beast but mcgee is a safer bet

Would a Kobe for Al Horford swap be worth it?

http://games.espn.go.com/fba/playerrater

durant: 14.82

melo: 10.19

that difference is like having devin harris on your roster for free, without an additional roster spot needed
