Latest Rumor is they are going after Deron. Knowing the Lakers, and Otis, and Dwight/Deron....here is my prediction of what is going to happen at the deadline:

I wouldn't be shocked in the least.

That is about as bad as it gets. Horrible trade for the Magic. Absolutely horrible.

There's something I don't understand. Why wouldn't Deron want to play for the Magic? If we outperform the Nets then wouldn't it make more sense for Dwight and D-Will to sign here?
Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?

Market size and where Dwight wants to play.

But I agree, he should be in Orlando if he wants a real chance at winning.

Knicks May Look To Add Kenyon Martin, Wilson Chandler

source familiar with the Knicks' thinking said it is "possible" the Knicks would have interest in signing Kenyon Martin later in the season if they need a jolt up front and they will pocket their $2.5 million exception.

A source said the 33-year-old former Nets star would be amenable to joining the Knicks.

Another Chinese league player of interest also would be ex-Knick Wilson Chandler, who still is playing in Asia and also wouldn't be eligible until March.

Multiple sources said Chandler would love a return to the Knicks, who reluctantly traded him to Denver in the Carmelo Anthony deal last February.

If Dwight comes to Otis with a word from Deron that he is commited to coming here as a FA next summer even Otis would do the moves to clear the space. Even Hedo is tradable next summer with the addition of 1st round pick as his contact is not fully guaranteed for 2013-2014.

Knicks would be stacked. I hope the Magic can somehow get Wilson Chandler once he's available.

Chandler is restricted so Denver is not letting him walk that easy. KMart is a pretty good chance tho..

Can Denver afford to keep Chandler?

Same here... considering that they gave up Wilson Chandler to acquire Melo... .it'd be a bit of a slap in the face to the Denver Nuggets... and the NBA fans having to witness that.

I doubt Chandler would accept the minumum when he can get close to $10 mil per. Of course, if he signed one year minimum deal would be understandable.

knicks have no money to offer Chandler; who is a RFA. KMart, possible, but not both; not this season.

AlexKennedyNBA Alex Kennedy
The Atlanta Hawks have waived Keith Benson, according to press release.

I found this kind of surprising. He's a rookie but has a high ceiling imo.

Orlando likely has no Shot at Chandler, but a very good one at KMart. We can offer more money then the Knicks and a bigger role. Especially if the Magic moved Anderson.

I honestly think the best place for K-Mart is Memphis.
