Jazz fan here. Wondering what you all think about trading Jimmer for Gordon Hayward straight up?

Hayward is much bigger and has a great shot.

Thank you.

Yeah, no way. Jimmer is already showing he's a perfect fit for this team and now the Kings finally have two guys that can make teams pay for packing the paint in he and Marcus. With Jimmer and Marcus the Kings have a shot to be one of the better 3 point shooting teams in the league.

Not gonna happen.

There's a really big WASP population in Sac (not unlike the heavy Mormon population in SLC) that just loves a good old fashioned white boy baller.

He is as good as California GOLT to the Kings!

I understand the team fit and all but you don't seem to know Hayward AT ALL. He's a play maker and a shooter too, only much bigger. You haven't thought of how he would fit into your team.

You're right. That's why I'm asking Kings fans. Do you have any insight to offer?

My insight is Jimmer is a star and Hayward is a run of the mill SF. NO WAY.

Franklin, anyone that's knocking Hayward is just being defensive, please forgive them, they've caught Jimmer fever.

Haywards a very young and good prospect. Much like a SF version of Jimmer IMO. However, Jimmer mania is spreading!! You can't stop this fire.

J/K, kind of. :P

I don't know, kind of early to call Jimmer a star though don't you think? Great potential but c'mon, lets not get cocky here.

Hayward is a very good player and he came on strong when given the opportunity last year. Honestly, I know Jimmer and the Utah connection has value, but why would the Jazz even want to lose a player at a position they need for one they don't?

BTW, in April last year when Hayward got some burn he KILLED it. KILLED IT for those that didn't pay any attention. I however did.

I'll pass on the younger Kyle Korver. Dime a dozen.

Better chance of trading Tyreke for Gordon. Jimmer only misses when he wants to give the other team a chance to stay in the game.

I'm not a Kings guy...but if a was I'd be all in your face and WTF ? Jimmer is a good fit for Sac. Hayward is fine but somewhat limited, almost has hit his peak as a smart+ skilled guy but not a freak athlete.

On a different note : Manu is out for the season for the Spurs with s broken hand . I could eaasily see the Spurs turning to the Kings for a trade as we hhave to many wing players as it is .

No way Utah would do this- they'd be trading a half a foot away. Also Utah doesn't need a Jimmer they need a playmaker.

Return to Sacramento Kings
