If the Magic don't trade Dwight all season long and he opts out, do the Magic retain his Bird Rights? My assumption is they do. If so, what would the cap hold be? And at what point does the Bird Rights go away? Can they do a S&T after the season?
If he signs with another team instead of the Magic, how much money does he stand to lose? Or would he not lose any?
Thanks ahead for the help.

yep, magic will have his bird rights.
somewhere around 18mil i believewhat would the cap hold be?
i guess if they were to renounce himAnd at what point does the Bird Rights go away?
, yes they can.Can they do a S&T after the season?
under a sign and trade or just straight signing with another team, d12 could only sign a max 4 yr deal with 4.5% raises. if he were to sign with the magic in this scenario, he could sign for 5 yrs with 7.5% raises. If he signs with another team instead of the Magic, how much money does he stand to lose? Or would he not lose any?
