Maybe you're the one with ridiculous posts MAN. Not all immoral things need to be dealt with by suing the aggressor in a civil case. There are other ways of handling the problem. Not saying what Ellis did was right, but you're acting like Gloria Allred and exaggerating this like what he did sexually assault or rape the woman.

It is humiliating and degrading to be assaulted, to have ownership of your body taken away from you. It is crushing to know if you report the crime there is a high chance that the people you report it to will not take you seriously, think you asked for it by the way you dressed, think it couldn't happen to you because you aren't attractive enough according to the image media pushes onto us. To be told you're a gold digger, you're passive aggressive, or a bitch who is mad the guy dumped you.

No one deserves to be sexually harassed, assaulted, or raped. Women or men. No one deserves to have that happen to them and then be too ashamed to report their crime because we live in a society that embraces and encourages a rape culture that questions/mocks/demonizes the victims.

Case in point, Syracuse and Penn State child molestation/rape scandals.

Thanks a lot for bringing some sense into this thread filled with cro-magnon thoughts and blatant misogyny. The only thing I'd say is Sandusky/Fine are being vilified much much more than a man is with a female accuser.

I'm not acting like Gloria Allred; I can't stand her.

I'm also not exaggerating anything. I never said anything about, or suggested in any way that this was like him raping her.

My point is, if someone is being harassed, whether it be calling them on the phone, leaving messages, texting, the response shouldn't be "well, you could just change your phone number or something." No, the person should just not be harassing them.

Woman getting unwanted attention from man is normal in every society, not saying that its right but suing somebody for sending a text massage is completly ridiculous.

Why would she have to change her number if it´s him who is harassing her?

I damn well know that if a dude send me pics of his junk, I'm suing just to get back at him. I think she is entitled to the same right, it's harassment.
