People can find salaries at http://www.shamsports.com (they are just starting to update salaries).
Timeline:
Still not set in stone, but this is what I'm thinking. We will start as soon as we have enough people to start, so I won't post a finite start date.
Start until Jan 18 - Trading
Jan 18 until Jan 20 - Draft/Rankings/Amnesty Period
Jan 20 until Jan 25 - Free Agency
Jan 25 until Feb 4 - Trading
Jan 30 - Free Agents can be traded
Feb 4 until Feb 8 - Writeups
Feb 8 - Announce Winner
Salary Cap:
60M - Soft Cap
75M - Lux Tax
100M - Hard Cap
Amnesty:
Amnesty will not be available until around draft time (written in schedule). Any team that has not used it this year in eligible to use it next year. Teams can only use it on players that had a contract when the CBA was signed. The Amnesty completely takes the players contract off of your salary cap.
Free Agency:
Under Cap:
Sign players with whatever cap you have.
Under Lux Tax:
Teams get a MLE (up to four-year deals starting at $5 million in the first two years, with the starting point increasing by 3 percent in subsequent years (four years, 20.5 million will be the maximum contract allowed to be offered)). Teams also get a BAE at 2M per year, max of 2 years. They get this every other year.
Over Lux Tax:
Teams get a Mini MLE (at most three years starting at $3 million in the first two years, with the starting point increasing 3 percent in subsequent years (three years, 9.1 million is the maximum contract allowed)).
S&T's:
Any RFA, Dwight or Deron can be signed and traded. One party must tell me the whole deal, the other must send me an email saying they confirm.
Trading FA's:
Teams may not trade FA's until Jan 30, unless it is through an approved S&T.
Trading:
Trading will be automatically approved, unless I or another person sees a flaw with a trade and posts about it.
Under Lux Tax:
Teams can acquire up to the lesser of 150 percent plus $100,000, or 100 percent plus $5 million of the salaries they trade away.
Over Lux Tax:
Teams can acquire no more than 125 percent plus $100,000 of the salaries they trade away.
Special Cases:
Chris Paul - Picked up his option, so he will not be a FA in 2012.
Jeff Green - Out for the year, but you can still trade his salary. He will be in 2012 FA.
Aaron Brooks - Overseas, PHX loses rights, become UFA in 2012.
Kenyon Martin - Overseas, DEN loses Bird Rights, becomes UFA in 2012.
Wilson Chandler - Overseas, DEN loses rights, become UFA in 2012.
JR Smith - Overseas, DEN loses Bird Rights, become UFA in 2012.
Buyouts/Trading Money:
I'm adding a new feature to this game, the ability to trade money and buyout players. I'm not sure how it will work, but I'm going to try.
Each team can trade cash as part of trades. There are limits:
Max amount of cash you can get/trade in one deal: 3M
Max amount of cash you can have total at one time: 7M
Min amount of cash you can have total at one time: -7M
All buyouts must be cleared with me. You can buy a player out by requesting one (send me an email) and using your cash to pay the player now, and have him come off the salary cap. You must pay for the total amount of his contract to buy him out.
I'm sure I'm forgetting things, so I may add them as we go, but this is it for now. Any questions, just send me an email at Keeslinator@gmail.com, or post here.

3.)You must put 3 different teams for your top 3, if you don't, I won't give you your one team. Also, if people are willing to take any team, please post that, we always are short on a few teams. Email is required, AIM is recommended. I have RiotPunch running the Draft, and dan_atko being an agent for one of the top 2 FAs. I'd like one more person to be an agent, preferably a vet who has done this before.
BlackIce won the last game, and has told me he wants NOH. He can post his contact info, and confirm this, but now NOH is not available.
