Week 16: Packers vs. Bears

Post#1 » by MadCityBucky » Sun Dec 25, 2011 7:26 pm

Notes

With a victory this evening, the Packers would set the franchise mark for the most wins in a season, topping the record of 13 wins in 1962, 1996, 1997 and 2007.

WR Jordy Nelson – Needs 14 yards receiving for his first 1,000-yard season.

WR Donald Driver – Is 21 yards shy of the 10,000-yard receiving mark for his career. Would be the 36th player in NFL history to register 10,000 receiving yards.

Get this W, get the #1 seed, eliminate the Bears, have no more major injuries, and lets start focusing on the playoffs!

Merry Christmas everyone! :)

Win this and rest guys next week (as much as I'd love to kick Detroits ass).
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think the Packers bounce back after that half ass effort last week,Packers play a great 1st half and have a comfortable enough lead to rest guys in the 2nd half.

It's crazy to think how next week's game vs the Lions could have been one of the hottest ticket in the NFL all seasn had the Packers been going for 16-0.But instead it's a preseason game in January.

NBC did a great job featuring the Packers/Bears rivalry over the years. My favorite was Jim McMahon's segment where he said the hotel they stayted at in Lambeau would never have hot water. Then when they would get to the stadium, there was always horse **** in the lockers, usually Ditka's.

Who knows if that is actually true, but it was hilarious.

Hard to lose to him when he's not playing.

If Finley holds on to the ball he's pretty freaking good.

Finley with a good start. I was hoping he'd have a big game before the playoffs to re-gain his confidence, hopefully this is the game. Curious to see how the D looks because the O looks re-focused and ready to make a big playoff push.
