1- OKC
2- Dallas
3- Memphis
4- Lakers
5- Clippers
6- Denver
7- Spurs
8- Jazz

I'm just praying for that 4/5 seed matchup...

I'm a little crazy putting the Jazz in the playoffs but I honestly think that it could happen. It's gonna be a crap shoot for that last spot.

I just dont see it this year, I have no confidence in Corbin.

I agree with you about Corbin. I don't think Jazz will make the playoffs this year, but I honestly wouldn't be shocked if we ended up anywhere from 9th to 13th in the West.

Also agree that Adelman is an awesome coach, and I'm really high on Minny this year. Rubio looked great in the preseason, Love is lean and mean, D-Will 2 could be scary good, and I think the whole team will benefit massively from having a pure point like Rubio. First team other than the Jazz I've been excited about in a long time.

I like your rankings. I'd swap portland with the clippers. Assuming no injuries, they are going to be dominant.

Western it's not as difficult as 2000-10.
We can make playoffs.

Denver, LAL, Spurs aren't better. Portland, Dallas, Memphis have not really improve.
Only Clippers seems better, and OKC will be better because they are a year older.
Rockets, NOH, Kings, GSW doesn't look well. Min are still pretty young.

Maybe we fail, but we could do some noise. We have youth, but we have some good vet in AL, Millsap, Howard and Harris.

It's all in Corbin. With Sloan this would be an playoff roster.

The Jazz would end up wasting two to three players if that happened.

They need to make the playoffs now with trying to develop all the rookies and sophmores this year, that is tough enough.

Disagree with this.

This year is a rebuilding year, whether KOC admits it or not. If this team can make the playoffs, then good for them, but they certainly don't NEED to make the playoffs this year. Having two lottery picks in this draft could be a big part in building this team over the next several years. It doesn't necessarily mean having two more rookies, either. Multiple picks could be used to move up like we did with Deron, or picks could be used in a trade to bring in other talent.

If the Jazz make the playoffs this year, I'll be happy for the players, especially big Al. But as far as the big picture is concerned, that extra asset is probably more valuable than a first round exit IMO.
