Duhon did ok tonight... But defense was nothing like OKC. He hesitates to much, and drives when he should shoot. If he can get a few points in early thought will free up his game. The one thing duhon can do better then most players at his position is defend opposing 1s. If the other shooters on the floor are having good nights then duhon will be successful.

Jameer wasn't playing bad at all. He was aggressive in the first half, but he was non existent 2nd.

Jameer pushed the ball hard almost every time up... he played well in my book

its nice to hear he pushed the ball, was it effective? i only see 8 fast break points with 19 assist and 10 free throws, did it lead to a lot of quick open looks when the defense couldn't get set? we shot a high percent from everywhere so it sounds like it

Glad Howard didn't campout in the lane all night. Actually had lanes to drive into that wasn't clogged up. Better mix of subs this game to by SVG.

Nelson made it goal to get out and run (especially in transition)... he also made it a goal to dribble penetrate into the paint, and collapse the defenders at the wing and key.... and he kicked it out to guys like Ryan, Hedo, and Redick for easy looks... the stats don't justify the good game he had today... he had a lot of HOCKEY assists (pass-to-assists) when he pushed the ball up and dribble penetrated into the paint... a lot of swing passes and good ball movement came from it... I know the stats say Nelson had 2pts on 6 shots (didn't really look for his shot or offense btw, he was pass first all game)... he truly did facilitate the offense and break down the defense... and I'm not a Jameer fan either, so I was genuinely pleased with his play.... it made everyone around him better... he needs to play like that from now on

Let's not overreact to this game though. We were playing a lottery team.

Our defense was turrible tonight. I think we need a lot more work on defense, which is usually our strong point. Offense looked better. Not all chucking 3's, even dodo drove to the hoop.

Does good defense mean the other team has to be held to 10% shooting?

The Rockets shot only 44% as a team and included Kevin Martin being held to 1 for 10.

Just got back from the game. Great game, fun to watch. The introductions tonight were the best I have ever seen. Players came from in the stands out onto the court. It was awesome. It was pretty cool to see Hedo play like it was 2009 again. But all that being said, Houston isn't that good of a team. Glad to see us get some decent play from our guys, but this is a game we should win, and we did.

Jameer had a great game. He kept an uptempo pace and played a solid floor game. Shots just weren't falling.

Hedo's shot was falling and he made some smart plays. He can't get any penetration any more like '09 Turk. Knees are gone and he's just too damn fat. Looks like he has a hard time moving around.

So, just got home from the game. My observations:
- Impressive play from Redick and Hedo. Redick especially looked very strong, was all over the place on both offense and defense.
- Dwight looked pretty good, but not a lot of elevation on some rebounds. Looked a bit tired, but was definitely trying to lead the team. Looked like he was calling the plays on several occasions.
- Glenn Davis had an impact when he was in the game, looked willing to do the dirty work.
- Ryan Anderson, of all people, looked pretty impressive fighting for a few rebounds.
- Nelson looked tired; he clearly didn't play great. Duhon looked pretty good, but I have to admit every time he brought the ball up I thought he was going to screw something up. More often than not tonight, he didn't.
- Jason Richardson was invisible for the first three quarters. Hi did have a nice reverse jam mid-way through the fourth quarter.
- Von Wafer showed a lot of energy, but I wasn't impressed with his play. On one play in particular it looked like he grabbed a rebound, brought the ball up the court, neglected to pass, dribbled a couple of times and forced a three pointer. Just an ugly play all around on that one.
- Stan seemed to be more reserved during the game. Less shouting from the sideline, less emphatic gestures during time-outs.
- I did think it was a little funny when the PA announcer couldn't seem to remember Justin Harper's name for a few seconds. It was like "In for the Magic, number 32....(pause)....(pause some more)....(little more pause).....Justin Harper"

Big Baby is "fatter" than Turk and he is one of our best players. I really think we should start to think positively, not this kind of useless bs
