D. James reminds me of a young Richard Jefferson, to be honest. Athletic hustle player, who rebounds and plays good defense. With an elite PG, he can get out, run, and finish. Obviously Jefferson had a much better offensive game than James, but early on, he actually didn't have much of a jumper, and relied on penetrating and using his athleticism to finish.

If we play a more up-tempo style, I see James being a valuable finisher on the break.

Each game is 24% more important this year because of the shortened season.

If Hump keeps playing like he did against the Wizards and to be fair since Williams arrived then we have a big trade piece on our hands.

He averaged 14/14 with deron last season and he's started on fire this year as well. Add in the fact he is an expiring and he is going to be valuable in a possible Howard deal.

Its ridiculous given how other bigs were getting paid that Hump had to "settle" for a one year deal. There was a risk, I agree with it being his contract year and the whole off-season deal with Kim, but still.

That whole marriage debacle could have played in our favor. Once again, kudos to BK for not going crazy and signing Nene to that max deal.

I don't know, I would say that him being an expiring kinda negates that.

Btw, did anyone else not like the amount of 3s D Will was chucking up yesterday? I understand that there was a point where he was on fire, but he took it kinda overboard yesterday.

I agree a lot of them felt rushed but tbh I would rather have DWill take those shots than anyone else, because if hes taking them he probably believes he can make them and eventually they will start to fall at a higher rate and he will improve (at least I hope so lol)...

Yeah. I want to see him driving more (although its not like he didn't either) and maybe even posting up once in a while. But I also think he'll become more selective once the team (or at least one or two other players other than Hump) gets in rhythm.
