The Atlanta players that have an issue with the Saints breaking the record and celebrating should just shut the hell up. Seriously! The players need to be upset with themselves.

LOL @ people bitching about teams running up the score. So sad.

This is the NFL. Your job is the stop the other team from scoring and to put up points yourself. I don't care if the Saints are up by 3 or 30. They have every right to try and score. STOP THEM. Pretty simple if you ask me. If your defense can't, then you deserve to get blown out.

"No need for that," an unnamed Falcons player told CBS Sports. "It came on our watch, but it didn't have to come that way. We won't forget it."

Though Atlanta head coach Mike Smith offered his congratulations after the game, Yahoo! Sports reported the 52-year-old was privately "seething" over Payton's decision to go for the record.

That's a stretch. I very much doubt Mike Smith was "seething" over that. But if anyone is pissed I hope it results in a better effort next time. It's time the Falcons showed they have a backbone.
