Pass on Stevenson. Guy is a cancer in the clubhouse. He was almost waived twice in the past two years, and has been hated everywhere he goes. He got lucky that Dallas already had a TON of solid vets on the roster who could deal with him in Dirk, Kidd, and Terry.

Humphries will be too expensive. He will want his massive pay day, think $10+ million, and it looks like the Nets will give it to him (even if just for one year).

Krstic and Kenyon Martin are signed overseas and have no escape clause right now, so count them out (though Kenyon could be an interesting prospect).

I would think a true center would be nice, or a SF/PF type player (in Kirilenko) that would allow Pendergraph to step up to center more often and allow Foster some rest.

I would also like a traditional style SG off the bench. If healthy, Michael Redd would be perfect.

Pacers considering Michael Redd, per Milwaukee Journal Sentinel -

The Indiana Pacers, still with money to spend under the salary cap, are showing interest in former Bucks guard Michael Redd.

League sources indicate the Pacers met with Redd on Thursday as they continued working to finalize their roster. Earlier this week the Pacers signed free agent forward David West to a two-year, $20 million deal.

Redd played 11 seasons with the Bucks, making him the longest-tenured player in franchise history. But he played in just 61 games during the past three seasons due to twice tearing the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his left knee.

If he can remain healthy, he could be a major steal, but that's a big if.

We may potentially have another big in our training camp. Jarrid Famous is a possibility he has the length and body apparently although I haven't heard any updates coming out of camp on anyone at all

Redd could be a good signing. Another vet and if he can remain healthy would be a good pickup at the right price but I am not worried with our wing situation when you consider we have George, Hill, Lance, Jones, and Rush.

Clearly we'll have George and Hill carry the bulk of the minutes and Jones/lance/Rush the rest if needed or even Granger shift to the 2 if we go big.

I like Redd, but how many players with health issues can u add in one offseason?

West, who signed Tuesday and joined practice Wednesday, will be brought along cautiously to allow his conditioning to catch up to the rest of the team. The team's other prominent free agent acquisition, forward Jeff Pendergraph, also will sit out (knee).

We could use another backup 4/5 IMO

Where is Solo?

The Clippers don't seem to care.

Not sure who you are referring to.

Paul and Billups both played more than 200 games in the last 3 seasons, where Gordon and Kaman were below and far below.

Butler and who else? It is possible I missed one.

Stanko Barac is still under contract with Euro pro team. He can join the Pacers next summer.

Michael Redd and Jarrid Famous might be the last two players to fill the roster.

wow, NJ just got
Mehmet Okur from
UTA for just a
2015 2nd Rd. Pick.

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/21 ... e_For_Okur

wonder if we
could've used him
if that was all it
took.

Memo is also on
an expiring contract
at that.

oh, well.

We're better off saving the capspace. At the deadline it will be a super commodity for trade bait.

I was browsing through the depth charts and i used to think we're pretty loaded on the wings. But now with Rush, Dunleavy, and Posey gone, i think we need another back-up sf.

We only have Dahntay as the back-up to Danny. We can switch and mix match our three big wings in Danny, Paul, and Dahntay but it's now too thin. Dahntay is naturally a SG, he's just capable of playing at the SF AT TIMES, and i don't think he can match up with the bigger SF's like Durant,

I understand we have two spots left on the roster, i hope we could sign one who can play SF. i wouldn't mind NBA D-Leaguers.

Amundson can defend the bigger SFs. I think he even played SF in college.

Granger/George/Jones/Amundson

For me it is good enough to start the season and wait until more (and better) players become available.

Here is how I would break it down:

Collison/Hill/Stephenson/Price
George/Hill/Stephenson/Jones
Granger/George/Jones/Amundson
West/Hansbrough/Granger/Amundson
Hibbert/West/Foster/Amundson

It ain't perfect, but I'm willing to start the season with it.

Why we haven't signed Pryzbilla is beyond me.

Is he healthy? I say we sign Raef LeFrantz. He was like a good version of Bargnani. Who cares if hasn't played in years. He could shoot and block shots. Which reminds me is Kirilenko still a free agent? I'd give him a one year deal.

Reports are that he seems good to go. Even if Joel isn't right now, He'd surely be fine for 10-15mpg later in the season. Totally worth a one year deal.
