Jazz 1st game disaster

Post#1 » by Montanajazz » Wed Dec 28, 2011 6:28 am

I just watched the Jazz's first game. All I know is that O'conner needs to package Raja "worthless" Bell and CJ "never will be consistent" Miles for a real G/F Shooter. Throw in some of that 10.5 mill the jazz just got for Okur. Burkes and Evans need to play, not Bell or miles.

I don't know that Bell and CJ were the worst of the night. A 2-16 performance from Blackhole Jefferson, and watching the Bigs (as a whole group) get out worked by Pau and McNuggets was hard to watch. I would also think that Ty Corbin's coaching was less then to be desired by some fans. That said CJ was pretty bad last night.

it's hard to belive that oconnor is such a moron that he wont sign for another year any shooter, and we got loaded front but what i saw last night we got only lots of pf and no true center some one big and strong enough to protect paint zone.

The Jazz should have traded up witht he Burks pick and got Jimmer. He would have drawn fans, provided excitement, and gave us much needed outside shooting. I like Burks but Jimmer was necessary.

Unfortunately in the NBA you can't trade two nickels for a dime, it rarely works that way.

In this case, OP is suggesting we trade 2 pennies for a dime, which never happens.

I am sure every GM in the league sees how crappy Bell and Miles are, we aren't the only ones who recognize 1-8 as terrible shooting.

I place 50% blame on the Refs, and 25% a piece for Jefferson and Corbin.

The reality is that we are In rebuilding mode and we are going to have suck it up for now. Corbin will lose respect of the veterans on the team by playing the other guys without them outright winning playing time with their play. KOC obviously traded Memo because Corbin would have played memo instead of Kanter and the other guys. Yesterdays game was horrible and I'm 100% convinced that Jefferson and Harris need to be gone sooner or later because we will not win any significant games with them at the helm. I think Harris and Jefferson have some value and we need to act on It.

I don't think trading CJ Miles is a good idea. He is not bad coming off the bench and gets $3.7m

our long distance shooting is tragic and unfortunately probably still will be, how the hell our bigs can play good if all opponents def is on them all the time cuz there is no one who could stretch floor, we got that tpe lets used it, plus we should totaly trade down and pick Brooks instead of Burks, ok Alec is good prospect bu he is unable to help that team in any way and cuz that he wont play, thats waste of kids talent and our pick.

I would rather see Burks, Evans, and Hayward play with Jefferson, Milsap, Harris, Watson & Howard then see Bell & Miles continue playing big minutes. We can live with the growing pains of the young guys who are all athletic. Let's not continue to die with Miles and Bell playing so inconsistently.

that is my "short" listo of player who we could get and who could help out team:

-Morrow-Nets
-Barbosa-Raps
-Posey-FA
-Jackson-Bucks
-Diaw;Maggety-Bobcats
-Reddic;Richardson-Magic
-Lee-Rox
-Mayo-Grizz
-MoWill-Clipps
-Dudley-Suns

ok not all of that candidacy are perfect or maybe not even close to perfect, but i think all of those guys would help Jazz, we need do trade like that one which brought KK to Utah.

Missed shots off of idiot shot selection is no different than turnovers. Look at CJ that way and yes he most definitely is bad coming off the bench at 3.7m. The Jazz are basically paying CJ to turn the ball over.
