I couldn't be less excited for this game.

25+ loss that is going to break our fragile players hearts again. Stern made this extra to make sure New Orleans gets a top 3 pick.

I sure would love to see our guys smack those punks right in the mouth (figuratively speaking of course) but I'm afraid this one could get ugly.

Tis the season for miracles though right?

Miracle? It would require an 8th wonder of the world for us to beat the Heat.

What we really need to do is to sign Tonya Harding to a 10 day contract and have her work her magic on Lebron and Wade.

Go Wolves!

Wade gets injured in the 2nd quarter, Love is Love, Beasley scores 50, Rubio dishes 12 assists, Williams blocks 5 shots and catches 4 alleyoops from Rubio, Lebron hides in the clutch as the T-Wolves catch the Heat off guard, and Barea makes a miracle comeback and hits the game-tying three to send the game into overtime...

...but eventually lose by 1.

I think we were in it against them up the the half, in our last game with them at home. And this was after doing all sorts of wonky normal Wolves things (Beasley zoning out, Rambo not making sense, Ridnour shooting outside the flow of the offense, etc etc). I have some hope that this game will be close, if Adelman comes back.

Well, we've lost the first two games but remember we only lost by 4 and by 3 so we could have won them. Keys of the game:

-Love should repeat what he did yesterday.
-Ricky should have more minutes and shoot more. He plays better against players like Lebron or Wade (remember the Spain vs USA games in 2008 and 2010).
-Beasley and Barea should control themselves.
-DEFENSE.
-No turnovers.
-Play as a team.

Defense --> grab deffensive rebounds --> run the open court --> Ricky shows some nasty passes --> Wolves win.
When I finish a game, they ask me "how did it go? how many points did you score?", when the real question should be "what have you done today to help your team win?". - Ricky Rubio.

I think this game should be tons of fun to watch. There could be some really cool line-ups happening.
I'm betting we go small often and LeBron plays alot of 4 against us.

I just want oops and effort. I also don't want any of these players to hang their heads.

If we can make our threes this game, it could be closer then what we think. We stayed right with OKC while shooting terrible from 3, and Milwaukee we shot terrible all around.

Beasley should at least be amped up.

Did not want to run into these guys down 0-2. A win here though would indeed be our first signature win of the season and would speak volumes for the team. This is the NBA and anything is possible. Let's hope our player believe they can win and we pull off the upset and morale boost we need to get our season off and running.

We don't have the defenders or the team cohesion to beat the Heat.

BUT...it should be close, which will count as a moral victory. Not great when you're down 0-3 to start the season but, eh, take what you can get.

If the Bobcats pull off a win the Heat will show us no mercy.
