who is the best sg we can trade for?

Who's the best sg we can trade for?
-without giving up williams or beasley
-so we trade wes or randoplh

-I think we should go for mayo, he doesn't seem to fit with memphis and they are open to trading him.
-He clearly needs a new start, and I think he could do well with wolves and our young core of developing players

I still think Iggy is attainable for a package with Wes J. Philly like Wes a lot IIRC, and they may think that at SF, he could be what they hoped.

Wes J + Ridnour + AR + Pekovic/Miller/Webster + 1 or both of the Memphis/Utah 1sts.

Pekovic is still a good prospect, but if they wanted cap relief they could take Miller or Martell.

MONTA ELLIS

ellis and wright for Williams, Beasley and Ridnour

then trade Pek, Randolph plus UTA & MEM picks for Varejao.

Rubio/Barea
Monta/Lee/Ellington
Wright/Wes
Love/Tolliver
Varejao/Darko

Mayo would probably be the best choice. I just don't know what they'd want in return for him. They don't have any real holes in their roster.

Pretty expensive for Ellis.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Maybe,

but until we get someone like Ellis who can close out games for us we will keep losing. We could easily be 2-0 now if we had Monta instead of Beasley.

Mayo is not good enough. He's RFA, some desperate GM will offer him big contract and we'd be better off just letting him go.

And we could easily still be 0-2 now if we had Monta instead of Beasley. Beasley isn't this team's problem.

Surely they could use Wes to fetch the team's doughnuts in the morning. That's about all he's good for...

Not a 'wow' name by any means, but how about Shannon Brown?

Someone like that, a serviceable SG, would help us alot and be worth his salary on this team.

I'd rather just give minutes to Malcolm Lee and see what he can do.

I know the goal here is to keep Williams, but I would see if we could trade Williams and Johnson for James Harden + whatever else to make the deal work.

I like Harden, but a deal that probably would turn OKC into a superpower for a decade and push us to maybe sniff the playoffs in a year or so isn't something I'd like to do.
