Even if we disregard the awesome game he had.

Our ability to set screens - especiely from Cousins who had no idea what a screen IS last season - has improoved by 150%.

Not to mention when Chuckster does it, then it's like hitting a brick wall.

We were prolly the worst screen setting team in the league last year, and now we see how much effective it can be to do this underrated ability in a good way. it opens up our ENTIRE offence.

ALL ABOARD THE CHUCKWAGON!

You guys will enjoy Chuck Hayes service every single night, he gives 120 percent every single game, I wish Clips can sign this off-season.

Yeeeep

Chuck isn't a super talented player. He alone won't push us to the next level. However, he is an ideal role model for our young players. Chuck represents maximizing your ability to the fullest, giving 120% every time, respect and courtesy, great sportsmanlike conduct, and high bball IQ.

If Cousins, Tyreke, Jimmer, Hickson, Thompson, Thomas, Donte, Hassan, Thornton can all learn a little bit of what Chuck can teach, then our team will improve significantly. Cousins, Thornton, and Tyreke will be the reason we win or fail to win anything. Chuck is just here to ensure that they stay on the right course and maximize their potential.

Agreed 100%. We needed a veteran to command respect in the locker room and Cisco isnt that guy. To get a guy like him will help the Kings beyond the numbers.

Not to mention he is a great role model. Check that, he is a great role model for Cousins. Hayes will set the example in all areas Cousins needs improvement. This is truly the best offseason signing in years.

Exactly, this team hasn't had anyone that could set a decent screen since Brad Miller left. Very underrated part of the game. Hayes is one of the best screen setters I've ever seen. No, he's not a superstar but his presence is already starting to look and feel like the "Vlade" for this new team. I know that's high praise early, but good people are good people.

I'm glad Hayes is back. He brings a lot of the intangibles this team lacks. His effort and defensive abilities he's shown in these first 2 games are impressive.
