A lot of his points came in the paint. He was in the post sometimes. Basically just like he was against Boston.

If you want to see most of his possessions, here

He was attacking the mid-post quite often early on. He had a nice rainbow turnaround jumper off the left shoulder, reminiscent of Jordan's turnaround into the paint. He also showed a little turnaround hook off the left block. Other times he looked to pass, and his jumper cooled off in the second half so he was taking advantage of the Bobcats' weak PnR defense and relentlessly attacking the basket. Only saw a couple of his isolation jackups.
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

That left-block iso spin baseline to left hook was pretty. Good patience, nice shoulder fakes, nice decisive choice of move. The fade was pretty.

Couple of redemptive plays, too. Stripped at the right wing but gets the chase-down block. Right block post, loses the ball but gets it back and hits a fadeaway. Lots and lots of left-hand stuff makes me happy :D Great to see.

It'd be nice to see him try to utilize the post in situations like the one we saw last night in the 4th quarter with a close game, but we can't have everything now. The biggest improvement I see is comfort level. He looks at home with playing with his back to the basket now, and as a result, he's a lot more decisive, as you said.

It's showing in the stat sheet, 32.6 on 67.8% TS in 37 minutes per game

Go to the media thread and look at the Bron highlights video. I'm impressed with how much he used the post. He's serious about it. Someone mentioned it looks effortless, and I think part of that is attributed to the fact that he's working out of the post and getting quality looks from much closer to the rim. He's either getting easy buckets or getting fouled. PEACE.

Glad Bosh didn't hurt his leg on that monster dunk he threw down. That looked weird how he landed lol

I don't think this team can go 66-0 anymore. Every team in the league are now going to look forward to playing the Heat as these games will be one of their biggest games of the regular season. Opponents will be fired up to try to knock down the team to beat. Should be a great stage for some great games to watch though.

^1 seed is a definite and likely possibility but I do not see a 66-0 record either. Never did.

Without a doubt, that's what I've noticed as well. I've always felt LeBron should be at least as good as Wade in the post with his size, and now he's finally showing it. Its all about comfort. He's using head fakes, and going up strong when he does make his move.

It's not even just that, it's that he's not trying to do 8 billion fakes and then making a weak move at the end. He's doing a couple of things and going to a move, then countering if he has to. It's beautiful to watch.

Most definitely 1st seed and high probability of a championship. Regardless, every team is going to be gunning for a victory against the Heat because every player is looking forward to upstage their matchup. Hence, win or lose, I expect to see some Great basketball from the Heat and opponents this year, even if they are the Bobcats. Heat will see the best their opponents will give. That can only make the Heat stronger.

Yeah true, and I anticipate/hope to see a lot of teams go zone on us, that can only be good for further down the road, even if we lose quite a few games because of it. The more they deal with it, the better they'll adjust.

True, he's keeping it simple. Its funny because in years past, he almost looked scared down low.

The biggest test still remains, whether he can calmly work in the post in close tight games (he really didn't post up much if at all in the 4th). But the fact he can do it in a game situation is a huge improvement already. He trusts himself, is the best way I could put it.

Yeah, I'm definitely enjoying the transition from him. It's about damned time. This is going to make a large difference.

That pumpfake up and under move was simply beautiful.

Just saw the replay. Outside of the slow start, this was a single-digit game the whole way. It was just a really terrible start. Bron's work in the post is very refreshing to see. He's really taking it seriously. Dude is on a mission right now, and I love it.

Bosh is finishing strong at the rim a lot this season. That's so nice to see. His jumper was falling too. Also nice to see.

UD needs to get his jumper working, and Cole needs to get used to the NBA b2b. I honestly feel that's the difference between him making those bunnies and that 3 last night, and missing them. It was a scrappy win, but we won. That's the difference between this year and last. Last season, we would have lost. We are really executing when we need to. PEACE.

Bosh needs to take notes from Lebron on how to play the 4 position.

I think what Cole really needs is to get back to being a floor general like he showed flashes of in the scrimmage, looking to move the ball and create. Instant offense off the bench is fine for now, but if he wants his ceiling to be higher than "Eddie House" he has to get back to displaying his point guard instincts.
