Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks 12/29/2011

Post#1 » by slick_watts » Thu Dec 29, 2011 6:03 pm

So despite all the Russ-KD hoopla the Thunder are 3-0 with two road wins and can claim a nice win against the defending champs tonight.

Dallas has struggled with their new pieces. KD has been brilliant in the first three games, but Dallas has done a very good job on him of late. Russ is going to have to get his act together in this one.

If KD can outplay Dirk tonight(and everyone else plays to their averages), I think the Thunder come away with the W.

Still, I see the first loss of the season tonight.

Looking forward to Russ finding his groove in this game so that we can have an end to the ridiculous trade/infighting chatter of the past 24 hours.

not quite sure what to think of this game. On one hand we are playing better than Dallas and its at home. BUT we did destroy them twice already(preseason) and they are being counted out by everybody already. So those 2 things will add some motivation for them, plus this is a back-2-back for us.

Can we just have Nick Collison coach this team instead of Scott Brooks?

I truly believe we're the best offensive team in the NBA when Westbrook, Harden, and Durant are on the court.

Wow... Durant has been amazing at every aspect of the offensive game this season. Passing, dribbling, shooting...

Are the Thunder interested in Odom for cash?

The half-court offense with our starters in makes me want to puke.

This game has showed , Thunder need playmaking pg to make half court offense more effective. All the westbrook turnovers get the ball out his hands.

RONDO FOR WESTBROOK !!!

This game has showed that the Thunder's half-court offense is a mess when it has no court-spacing and no structure, and Rondo/Thabo/Ibaka/Perkins in a lineup makes that even worse.

It would be Rondo giving easy looks to Harden , Durant, Ibaka , and Perkins

Thabo would be second unit

How about we just try starting Harden first before panicking?

To make thunder half court and fast break offense better, also utilize their weapons better they need a play maker .
RONDO he makes plays and makes players better, easy shots for Perkins in low post and Ibaka on pick and rolls and fast beaks. Harden and Durant will also get a lot more extra shots.

And Rondo equals less turnovers
