I think every year the Pro Bowl gets to be less and less of a big deal, and the roster releases draw more of the attention than the game does.

The rosters this year are pretty run of the mill, though I like seeing Eli make it. The only snub that jumps out to me is Victor Cruz (for obvious reasons).

for the niners, 8 players selected :D

i feel staley and goldson were lucky, staley defs improved and is a more solid tackle but pro bowl ? nah still not that good, gotta be better tackles out there

goldson makes play and i guess he's a solid choice but he still makes mistakes that leads to points, someone is gonna overpay him this offseason, i hope its not us

unlucky:

bowman, defs better then urlacher this season and some would argue better then willis this season, he and willis is a scary combo

aldon smith, was always gonna struggle with fans not being able to vote him in but really he probs doesn't make even if he is

London Fletcher got jobbed.
Forte? Really?

I know PP is doing his thing but no Hester? Does PP even return kickoffs?

I think years roster is pretty solid, although Freeney and Forte shouldn't be there and London Fletcher needs to be there, although it's tough to take out either Urlacher or Willis

Dalton should be in there instead of Rivers.

 at Matt Slater making it. This has been his best year, but I just, wow. When a guy like Matt Slater can make the pro bowl.

Brian Waters and Andre Carter were huge signings by BB. Too bad Carter is now out for they year :(

Oh, Cruz was totally snubbed. Biggest one imo.

I though D'Brickashaw Ferguson had a terrible season.

I can't believe that Aldon Smith isn't even listed as an alternative! He's half a sack away from breaking the rookie sack record, and he's not even a 3rd or 4th alternative?!

Two surprising things about Aldon Smith's could-be rookie sack record: He doesn't start and he didn't get his first sack until Week 4. (!!!)

Terrible.

I'm glad that Rogers and Goldson both made it, but dammit, we gotta re-sign both this season, and it's gonna cost us. Hopefully NO ONE on the team plays in the Pro Bowl this year 8-)

Biggest snubs:
London Fletcher
Matt Stafford, though the NFC is loaded at QB. After the first two AFC QBs, I would take Stafford, Romo, Cutler (injured), and Newton before I would get to another AFC QB that belongs.

Andrew Whitworth over D'Brick. Switch their jerseys and Whitworth would be starting the game over Joe Thomas.

Navorro Bowman probably belongs but the NFC is loaded at ILB/MLB. Sean Lee has an argument too but he's lower down the pecking order.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game
