Chalmers with a good game to justify his starting spot. Norris had some trouble getting into the game, but did okay for his first back to back on the road.

So like, Chalmers outplays him after Cole was clutch as hell.

Rio ain't gonna be benched anytime soon haha.

They have their moments I guess. This made Mario play better.

Kemba outplayed Cole sadly tonight.

I only caught the second half of the game at a bar. I didn't get a chance to watch closely, so did Cole have as bad a game as the box score suggests? I saw him miss a finger roll on a break. And then I saw Rio back in. I looked at the box score on my phone, periodically, but couldn't really pay attention. PEACE.

Give Coles a little more time, i am excited about the idea that we have a potential true starting point guard. These ideas that he better off the bench because the assumption that he going to play with bench players on the court is false. He is going ot play with the big three while he coming off the bench. Once he gets enough experience, i prefer him on the court because he is more versatile and allows our offense to be more versatile and make it harder to game plan. Chalmers has a lot of deficiencies, and its easier to hide them bringing off the bench. But lets give them more time and coles more time.

Norris seems to be short on all the 3's he's taking. signs of the NBA 3 point line being a problem.

I'd like to see him work on that 3 point shot.

Not its not a problem, give him time. He has a great stroke and strength just something he needs to adjust to.

He didn't have a good game. Kemba was also making shots in his face.

Rio actually played better than him against the Bobcats.

Seems Rio didn't like Cole getting so much praise

I watched the replay finally. I don't know if I agree with you guys. I wouldn't call him playing like ass. For one, he only conceded 8 points to DJ and Kemba total. He went under a screen and DJ hit a 3, Kemba had a nice step-back 2, and then launched a long 3 and made it. Cole defended both guys well, and way better than Rio. They weren't getting dribble-penetration on him.

OTOH, he was off on the offensive end. He missed two finger rolls short, a floater in the paint, and got stuffed twice (second one kinda ugly). But, they were still high-percentage shots, and the right decisions at the time. The 3 came up short too, and that's all his misses. I'm gonna assume since it's his first NBA b2b, and given the minutes he played in the first game, he just had tired legs.

I can't say he played like ass or that Kemba taught him any specific lessons. They both played with confidence and defended well. Cole got to the rim more than Kemba, just needed to finish. He's gonna want to try dunking some of those finger rolls in the future. I know he might not want to over-exert himself, but he can get up for it. Then again, that finger roll should be a bunny for him too. PEACE.

 ^ I was kind of messing around on that post, and after his big night with the Celtics I wasn't expecting too much from the guy to begin with. I guess an off night would be a more fair statement, offensively at least. Still, Kemba had a much better night to me. It was nice to see them go toe-to-toe for a bit.

Kemba made some crazy shots, i'm pretty sure most of the time they wouldn't go in.

Cole needs to master the floater in the lane and to finish better around the rim using his body to protect the ball like Tony Parker does. He def has the speed to get there.

He shares the same speed, weight, and height with Parker. That's what we need fro the kid :

I've never seen someone pull of a spin move as fast as Parker did in that first clip. o.0

I like the Tony Parker comparisons. I also agree he's gotta learn to use his body to ward-off shot blockers. He has good instincts getting to the rim, and his handle is strong. I don't think he's had his handle ripped once. PEACE.
