The Bulls came back to beat the Lakers and then got beat down by Golden State. It's really hard to gauge who is really good and who isn't because of the shortened off season. Our D against the Spurs was lacking.(especially in the third quarter) I personally feel like many teams will be inconsistent to start the season. So far this season I haven't been happy with our defense or rebounding. Hopefully we can show improvement against the Bulls. Luckily for us we have a day to practice and watch the Bulls in action. The Bulls did beat the Kings last night. Hopefully we can take advantage as we are the fresher team.

I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

If we don't play with that fire in are eyes after just getting exposed by a vet team like S.A. and a full day of rest I will be extremely disappointed. Hopefully Paul and Billups are barking at their teammates that losing the way we did last night was unacceptable and to play hard on every possession(O & D) especially against an up and coming contender team like Bulls. We have the leadership just no team cohesion and that in itself is very frustrating..

It's really hard to to gauge the quality of teams and especially ours. The full team has practiced together for less than 2 weeks. A team like the Spurs have had their primary core (Duncan, Ginobili, Parker and Popovich) together for 10 seasons. They were in good shape and have fresh legs at the beginning of the season. We would have been better suited against them later on in the season after they had worn down some and after we began to gel.

Chicago will be playing a back-to-back on the road after playing Sacramento tonight. That gives us somewhat of an advantage. The Bulls aren't in midseason form either, so it's really up in the air. The Bulls have one of the best defensive minds coaching them and have strong rebounders in Noah, Boozer, Gibson and Deng. One difference between the Bulls, Spurs and Warriors is perimeter shooting. The Spurs had Ginobili, Bonner and Jefferson for us to worry about. The Bulls have primarily Watson and Korver who are both back-ups playing limited minutes. Guarding Rose and Deng along with will be our primary concerns outside of trying not to get hammered on the boards.

Should be a tough one, but our guys have to show that they're about winning and get a win against a quality team.

BTW: We'll have a hard time on the boards whenever either Blake or DJ will be checking out, cause they've got Noah and Boozer starting and two great backups(especially on the glass) in Gibson and Asik.

Man, this will be a tough home opener. The crowd will be pumped though as will the team. Just need to clean up the mistakes from last game and play better defense. CP3 needs to be more aggressive than he's been thus far. Chauncey needs to have a big shooting night and Caron needs to chip in. Blake will be Blake. And DJ just needs to anchor the middle. Interested to see Chauncey vs Rip, a clash of old teammates.

I can't wait to see Derrick unleash "The Wrath Of Rose" on Lob City tonight. It always seem like Rose elevates his game amongst the best teams as if he's trying to make a statement, and if last season was any kind of a indicator, he usually does.

I'm looking forward to see how they perform tonight. So far this season they seem to start the games off without much hustle. Also CP3 seem to coast as others get involved. I want him to be aggressive and set the tone for the offense so its less contested jumpers from the perimeter.

The keys for the game will be rebounding! The bulls can struggle offensively but they excel at 2nd chance points. If Blake and Jordan return to their rebounding tenacity from last season will be OK. Also is Reggie Evans playing tonight?

I hope to see Mo play a bit more within the offense, I know he wants to score and impact the game, but when he rushes his shots and they brick so terribly it really kills any momentum we have going at all.

Oh and..... Something that at least resembles defense from this team.

Bulls are tough. Time to see where we are at as a team, especially on defense

Chauncey is not going to play tonight. He was a game time decision with a sore groin, but the latest is that he will be a no go. Mo or Foye will get the start.

Mo is given the start. The bench is going to be limited to Foye, Gomes, Cook and a couple of rookies. :sigh:
