C'mon over the Bucks board. We've got a good thread going comparing which team is in worse shape.

some flip saunders quotes regarding young in the starting lineup

Saunders wants to bring him along slowly since Young still has what he calls “training camp legs” and has intimated that Young could eventually supplant Crawford as the starting shooting guard once he regains his conditioning.

“He’s still not in great shape,” Saunders said of Young. “We don’t want to do anything and all of sudden he has some kind of major injury because we’ve pushed him too hard.”

Hopefully John Wall has his first good game of the season but with Bogut manning the middle I'm not too sure that's going to happen. Hopefully John stops for the midrange jumper a little more often this game when he sees Bogut guarding the rim. By my count, he was 2/3 on those against Atlanta.

McGee is going to be destroyed by Bogut tonight. His glaring inabaility to defend man-2-man will be on display.

I hope Nick starts.

Always interesting to read the comments of "outsiders", many of the comments are spot-on. There are of-course some inaccuracies as-well.

Fandom is a funny thing...

I actually look forward to watching the wizards play, even knowing that it's highly probable that I'll just be pissed off for 2 hours.

This game comes down to Dray, Flip, & JC. Dray has to showup and play a ton better. I still believe that he can not only play better but he can be a force. In some ways I think his start is the best thing to happen to us because he's been humbled and he's also seeing the writing on the wall that he may be shipped out of town and we all know he loves living in this town.

More importantly it comes down to Flip. The main factor in this game is that Jackson is 6'8 and starts at SG, kinda like the Hawks and JJ. JC is 6'4. We got ran out of town ASAP vs the Hawks because they went straight to that matchup, Flip double teamed from the start, and it led to open shot after open shot. It made no sense to me. Either dont start JC or atleast make JJ prove that he was going to be hot & kill us.

Its going to be the same thing tonight. The Bucks are going to post SJ right off the bat and its up to Flip to figure out how to handle it. Either start the 6'7 NY or dont double until SJ proves he's going to light us up, or JC just has to step up and play alot better. NY loves playing there so he should again play well since its like a 2nd homecoming but Flip is still indicating he wont start.

I can somewhat understand where Flip is coming from. Everyone now agrees that NY needs to start but if he's not ready then he could easily pull something so you have to be careful. However, he's still played 31min off he bench last game and I just believe that everything will clearly flow better if he starts and you could manage the minutes a ton better.

SJ could give NY some problems too. NY is a ton better on D now than before but the only guys to still give him trouble are the bigger stronger SG's who are capable of being 3's like SJ but I was encouraged by how NY guarded JJ in spots last game. Maybe the bigger thing then turns to Offfense. If JC starts and is going to hurt us bad on D then he better use his quickness to kill SJ on O. SJ shouldnt be able to stay with him. He's too big.

On the flip side, NY also has to dominate SJ on O. NY posted alot last game but SJ is too big for that so this game NY has to use his handles & quickness to blow by him. He may have to go to the rim more this game instead of settling for the J over the longer SJ. He might could even get SJ in foul trouble. Also run him off a ton of screens. He shouldnt be able to stay with him

I think it is perfect. Clean and concise.

I hate having to scroll past the over done ones. I never even look at them.

It's likely to ugly again until they start to change the line ups and Vesely is available.

Wall, Craw, Lewis, Dray and McGee is just not a good line up.

Probably one more game of crap before Flips starts to change that. Question for todays game is, how long does he stay with that crappy starting line up before he starts to sub and what line up will we get to see during the game. That will be the difference maker.

Nice work, ZAZ.

Rookie 2nd round Jon Leuer comes in with a PER of 36.6. Can the Wiz hold him under that?

Is Vesely going to play? If not, I might not even watch.

This is really what I'm watching for. I really have lost interest in the Crawford "Chuck" show the first half, followed of course by Blatche yelling, "Slow down, guys!" in the second half.

I do want to see Wall try to dish off more, even if his teammates can't finish.

Bogut is already licking his chops in anticipation of going up against this weak front court. Double double guaranteed, the only question is over or under 20 points?

This is a loss, wish we had a guy like Skiles lighting a fire under this teams ass...

You gotta wonder how Skiles would handle someone like Blatche. I can only imagine the convesation would go something like, "You see that seat? That's gonna be your friend for most of the season, until you get your ass and brain in gear..."

I just don't understand what this coaching staff and this fookin GM sees in Andray Blatche. If I were the coach, he would not even be sitting on the bench.
