Tyreke is frustrating to watch. 3-on-1 fast break and he doesn't pass the ball? He gets the foul, but misses both FT's. What a joke. This should be an easy layup, and possibly a foul creating an and-1 opportunity. He shows no willingness to set up his teammates. When he did crash the lane and attempt to pass out, it seemed like it was a bail-out/desperate heave of the ball to a teammate. He needs to have a better idea of what he wants to do with the ball. He just doesn't have a good feel for creating offense for his teammates....and I HATE watching it.

Hayes - it seemed he played good defense on Boozer...for the most part, Boozer scored on JT/JJ. I did notice a lack of hustle on Hayes, which surprised me considering his reputation. On every single offensive rebound-able FT attempt, Cousins is fighting for the offense rebounds. However, Hayes never fought for the rebound in that situation. He allowed an easy defensive rebound. I also saw Hayes walk down the court on FB a few times too.

Cousins - What can you say? The kid plays with all his heart every single play. He didn't have a great game and miss too many point-blank shots. But there was a stretch where Noah and Asik hand their hands full with him and didn't have an answer. He just needs to be a more consistent finisher at the rim.

Boozer got a good deal of his points from spot shooting. Just like Aldridge did, you can't do much with that because you have to have solid defense rotations to make sure that it doesn't throw everything out of whack. Boozer scored on a fade away early, and I only remember him even trying to go one on one with Chuck one more time after, and he missed. Chuck is definitely out of shape though. He was fading in that 3rd quarter. Keep it going, test that heart and work off those layers of fat.

With Cousins it's all about confidence, when he has it he flashes of superstar potential. You know what the key to that is? Easy baskets. Just like with Tyreke, he has to work waaaay too hard for his money. Every superstar, or even half decent player should get at least 4-6 ppg off of an easy uncontested layup or a similarly easy shot. The Kings probably average below 1 a game in that department. Then you factor in that they need to give him passing option when he has the ball. Don't just leave him to go isolation every time, which is what they do.

NO! You need your starters playing those 32 mpg at least, 25 for everyone is stupid, stupid, stupid, it's impossible to utilize with the offense they're trying to run, causes inconsistencies with chemistry and timing, and pisses guys off. If anything he needs to cut one of JT or JJ out, and JT is on the losing end right now me thinks. JJ should be getting those 25 bench minutes right now.

Hayes isn't playing major minutes. The Portland game was a travesty and last night he was only around 33 mpg. Cousins would have been up around there as well if not for fouling out. That's where they need to be. Hayes is integral for this offense to work, he's really helping guys out with help D, and he and Cousins are controlling the boards. Hayes is the only guy in that frontcourt that provides the 3 ingredients you want next to your star players, opens things up for them offensively with passing and screening, does the dirty work, and helps on the boards. He is out of shape though and was getting worn down last night and he looks to be about 15 pounds overweight. The more work now, the quicker he'll get into shape.

Tyreke Evans said he was so unhappy with his free throw shooting that he came back in gym after game to shoot over 400 FT's until 2am

Good to see the effort, but it's kind of ignoring the real problem. He's a good free throw shooter--he's just been losing his focus.

Yeah, like the effort but no kidding. The problem isn't the free throw shooting category, it's the ASSIST category. Teams have won championships on the backs of guys that couldn't shoot a lick at the free throw line, don't know a team winning anything netting you 13 apg.

I was at the game yesterday here is my notes:

- I thought the Kings played ok. Not great but not bad. The only bad was FREE THROWS and transition defense! And the occasional selfish plays by our guys. The Bulls did not played at their own level at all. They struggle to do anything when the Kings played well (which was rarely).

- Even when the Kings were down, I felt the Kings will manage to get the difference a lot closer in the later quarters and they did. But as we know, they lost by 10 instead of 18-22 points.

- I don't understand why we did not ATTACK their foul-plagued players (Noah, Asik, Rose) more. Instead, the Kings decided to shoot jumpers.

- I felt the Kings did not take advantage when Rose was on the bench with 5 fouls.

- I don't like how Jimmer was left in crunch time. I know he made a timely 3 to cut down the Bulls lead in the late 4th quarter but when he pick up his dribble anywhere or makes questionable decisions, I think he should have been on the bench instead.

- I remember asking myself, where is Cousins? He was left on the bench way too long in some quarter.

- There wasn't any significant off the ball movement from our guards. The only one I remember is where Hayes pass the ball to the cutting Tyreke where he finished over a couple of Bulls players.

Overall, I had a good time attending my rare visit at Arco. I don't think the Kings have won when I attend games. : (

Id like Tyreke to come to the gym and learn passing the ball 400 times.

I think you miss understood me. My problem isn't so much how many minutes chuck is out there but more so when he is subbed out. Especially when the Kings go into that 3 guard line up they cant have Chuck playing the 5 it should be JJ or JT because they are the only ones who are athletic enough to run back against those fast breaks. At least until Chuck gets into shape they need people who can at least run noah down. That break single handedly broke my heart.

And? That was basically a long drawn out way of saying "it's just you, and hopefully only you and not the coach too." hahaha.

Also the rotation pattern you suggested is pretty much the one he's been rolling with, or did, until the 2nd half of the last game.
