Kobe Bryant can be credited with an assist to Alex Rodriguez.

According to multiple sources, the Yankees third baseman recently followed a recommendation from Bryant, the Los Angeles Lakers star, and traveled to Germany for an experimental therapy called Orthokine on his bothersome right knee.

What irritated me was how Cashman defended the whole issue, "Alex is 100%" Really Brian? Cause if he really was 100% then why did he have to get additional treatment?

Even more disturbing was Kobe Bryant giving A-Rod advice for his ailments. NOT. A. Good. SIGN.

Who cares if Arod is getting alternative treatment. Doesn't hurt to throw darts at the wall.

Maybe dating Torrie Wilson is going to get his numbers up.

When the headline "Doctor Who claims he can cure arthritis..." I keep thinking of a Tardis.

^ How or why are you even a Yankees fan, all you do is overreact and complain....

Lets see, 1) Cashman lied because he knew what his fan base wanted to hear, Arod 100% means we had a chance in the playoffs, but anyone with eyes could see he wasn't even close too 100%, 2) Following Kobe's advice and utilizing alternative procedures (see Bartolo) means we may actually see a healthy Arod for a full season, thinking that is bad, makes 0 sense.

No such thing. It's got nothing to do with over reaction but MEDICAL FACT: PEDS=more injuries as time progresses.

this is not the movies where you can shoot up for one film...this IS over 162 game season. We saw it with countless players before A-Rod (see Kevin Brown)...

ANY Yankee fan knows how to translate the nonsense that the front office will say. We EXPECT them to say what WE WANT to hear. Kevin Long saying A-Rod needs to feel 25 again, is a rhetorical fact.

What would be an HONEST move, getting a legit back up at the hot corner....cause last season it was an adventure when A-rod was out.
