Am I the only one happy about another 3 double-doubles and Hibbert's third convincing double-digit rebounding effort?

Not to mention Granger now gets to play as a closer. He's gotten it done late while everyone else fills in the gaps for the rest of the game.

He also altered the potential Irving game-winner.

West should be the go-to closer IMO. Two clutch baskets in back-to-back games and isn't afraid of contact. When Granger can score more points than shots he takes, 59 points on 59 shots is ridiculous (although West has scored 39 points on 38 shots), then we'll be blowing these teams out like we should be. David West is quickly becoming my favorite player. Roy Hibbert has been our best player. He's letting the game come to him. Bringing West in is only going to help his game.

Man, 98 points on 97 shots from our two go-to guys? We could be 0-3 if not for the schedule. We will definitely have to pick it up as the season goes on, which I'm pretty confident that they will.

I'm happy about the dbls also
especially since we are winning.
i want to see them attack on offense more.
we are getting ready to play some really good teams
we will have to be sharp on both ends of the floor.
David West has been huge for us
i can't begin to talk enough about him.

I'll take 3-0 considering we've played awful on offense.

We'll be blowing teams like this out once our offense round into anything even resembling decency.

Good teams beat teams they should beat, even if they don't play well.

So far so good.

How huge has west been?

He was off all game, but just when we needed him he comes up with two huge floaters, followed by the block.

Dude is the definition of timely. If granger and west had been shooting just badly, instead of apocalyptically bad we'd probably have an average victory margin of about 17 or so. Both are proven NBA guys, they'll come around.

I'm more excited at DC, PG's (up until this game) and especially Roys improvement. Roy is playing a sustainable game, he doesn't get bullied out of the post, he takes his time, and he's rebounded lik e abeast. If he keeps it up it may be MIP Roy Redux, except actually winning it this time. He's been by far our best player so far.

I don't see why he can't keep averaging 15pts/12rebs/2blks. He just needs to stay efficient. When West and Granger start knocking down their shots, Roy may become even more efficient, Not 60%, but mid 50's with more volume.

He's had games of 6-11, 6-11, and 7-11. There will be some games where we might need 15 or 16 shots from him. He just needs to keep the efficiency up.

yea. BIg Hibb has been great. So efficient. Having D.DUB is helping him so much, the ball doesnt have to be force fed to him down low because he's not our only low post option like last year. So he can get in where he fits in. His rebounding is substantially improved.

One thing I've always loved about Roy is his absolute passion and loyalty. The guy is one of the biggest supporters and loyal guys we've seen on this team since, dare I say it, Reggie. He is all about the team, the community, the state, everything. He is Pacers through and through. He works his ass off to improve year in and out. I know basketball is a business, and players have to be moved at times. But if Roy isn't a Pacer for his career ill be very sad.

And he's not my fav player, as you all know im sure, PG "The Madness" is by far my fav player. But Roy is just one of those guys to me, who seems so loyal, so true, and absolutely loves it here. Even his twitter for example. He's the only one with the team name in his twitter account. I know technically that means nothing, but to me it does mean something. He has that there for a reason.

On a side note...David West may not be the biggest name to move this year, cp3. But he has to be one of the biggest overall. The man was a steal, and will get extended at years end. He brings so much...so much. Not just what he does in the box score. But his presence, his swag, his outspoken-im the **** are the **** will pay huge dividends for us. I have a vast Pacer knowledge, and we've gotten better players through trades and drafts. But I challenge anyone to find a better free agent pickup for the Pacers ever. Go ahead, I'll wait....

Lastly, I can't be the only one who is sick of Dahntay "i think im Kobe" Jones getting pt. What did he do tonight? 2pts and 6 turnovers maybe? He doesnt need to be out there, period. Am I the only person that remembers how good Price played for us? Why is he not getting playing time. He and Stephenson should split Dahntay's minutes. Play Price at the point some and give Hill and Stephenson some min's at the 2 instead of Jones. He is garbage.

Final note...I hope if Josh Smith comes back from china soon we sign him. Headcase? Kind of. But we could use him off the bench. And I'm pretty sure Bird, Vogel, Shaw, West, and Granger can get him in check. It's worth a shot, even if just to get Jones off the court.
jnzook's favorite player depth chart:

Deron Williams/Kyrie Irving/George Hill
Paul George/Jeremy Lamb
LeBron James/Danny Granger/Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Dirk Nowitzki/David West
Roy Hibbert/DeMarcus Cousins

I have to lol every time George catapults the ball at Hibbert. So much fire in it. :)

Smart kid. Bird reached out to Jamal Crawford and Hill understood the message.

If someone has to do it, I'm glad it's him to be honest. Best driver of the team.

This team is going to be so fun to watch this year.

And so happy there is another game tonight! Starts plenty early so it won't even take away any partying time tonight. Hopefully they put me in an even better mood when I head out for the night.
