If Webster was healthy we'd probably be 2 and 1. Hopefully he'll be back by the end of January... He and Miller will help a lot in the 4th quarter.

I liked the way Martell looked the last couple of weeks of last year when he finally got healthy. Considering the other options, I'm hoping he can take over the starting SG role by early Feb, with Wes moving to backup SF, and JJ, Lee and Ridnour taking the rest of the SG minutes.

Luke needs to go. Each time he was in for extended minutes Miami began to pull away. Also funny as soon as Rubio was waiting to check in Ridnour shoots twice, making one three. I think he's playing scared. The PG play and passing in general needs to improve though. There were multiple times an errant pass led to a turnover.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt

Really? I've been glad every single second he wasn't on the court today. He rebounded well but didn't offer much that Tolliver couldn't do defensively. And offensively Tolliver seems like a better player than Darko. Even if he has missed a couple shots today.
Tolliver played exclusively @ sf tonight, guarding lebron. That is his strength, guarding big sf's and quick 4's. He is NOT A CENTER. He was used and abused repeatedly by the bucks backup PF's and couldn't grab a reb to save his life.
Darko did everything you could ask of a defensive minded C tonight. The lane was closed with him in the lane, and if he keeps rebounding at an acceptable level and cuts out down on the turnovers I think he's a nice asset in the middle.
IMO Adelman failed in not switching from the "behind" lineup to "lead-protect" lineup and at least use timeouts/stoppages to make offense/defense substitutions in the 4th quarter. No way Haslem gets 2 offensive rebounds or Wade gets that alley with Darko in there.
Darko is playing a lot better now, but still is TO and, as importantly, foul prone. If the coaches can get him to tighten up his game just a little then he will be an important part of the end of game linuep. Right now he just gives the other team the ball too much, though. Really, it seems to me that other teams know how to get him to foul, often on plays he doesn't need to. He's showing a lot of improvement, but that variable makes him an exploitable weak link.

This would be very nice, but I'll believe it when I see it, and not sooner. I get the feeling Martell could turn out to be more or less permanently broken.

I saw that, too, but they'll keep him around for now. I agree though that his minutes should shrink. I would like to see Ricky and Wayne start for now, with JJ coming off the bench as a third guard. Let Luke play 10 mpg as a 4th guard against the other team's bench. After the season when we know if Lee is going to be another service-able player, then we can package Luke if we need to.

Re: Heat vs Timberwolves 12/30/11
My recap of the game from the first row. It was pretty much the best expirience of my life. Its gonna be hard to go back to my old seats, even thought they are still pretty good. Lots of rich folks down there. Loadholt Herrera, and Toby Gerhart all were at the game. Loadholt is massive. As far as the game. The reffing was pretty questionable. If lebron even had and itch on his nose, we got called for a foul. Rubio totally controlled the game. When he was in everything changed. When it looked like the Heat were about to break the game open, he came in and got us ahead. His vision, handling, and control are all top notch. obviously we need an upgrade at 2,3,and 5 untill DWill is ready at the 3. Honestly if we had Iggy, even with his contract, I think we would be 3-0. I just wish that Howard would see these games, and think "man Rubio, Love and I would be absolutely dominant." All in all, Randolph had a ON game tonight. He played both sides of the ball well. When he doesn't settle for jumpers, and passes out of trouble, he is good. Love was a Monster again, just a man doing work in the paint. It was my friends first Wolves game in awhile and he was very impressed with Rubio and Love. Tolliver was big time last night as well. Love the take he had were he went to power dunk on someone. Ellington was decent defensively. Wish Lee was available to provide some more athleticism on Dwade on the fadeaway jumper and layeup to win the game in crunch time.

I did, lol. Then I remembered how I went to 38 games last year, and how much I spend on tickets and driving downtown, then I felt good. Saw lots of people from my high school too. It was a great time.

I think I asked before, but what section are you in? We are in 237 now. Not the best seats, but it's only $4.50 a game.

I'm in 109. I was originally in 233, then upgraded middle of last season. Mine are 35 a game.
